Parents are being banned from playing with their children in council recreation areas because they have not been vetted by police.

Mothers and fathers are being forced to watch their children from outside perimeter fences because of fears they could be paedophiles.

Watford Council was branded a ‘disgrace’ yesterday after excluding parents from two fenced-off adventure playgrounds unless they first undergo criminal record checks.

Children as young as five will instead be supervised by council ‘play rangers’ who have been cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau. …

Parents already have to ‘register’ their child on arrival so staff have their contact details in the event of an accident. But now only those who have been selected for CRB vetting by the council can enter the sites.

Meanwhile, a story from Lithuania reminds us who is more likely to have children’s best interests at heart, their parents or The State:

A dad who shot dead a judge and a senior politician because they molested his three-year old daughter has become a national hero after going on the run in Lithuania.

Horrified Drasius Keyds, 37, gunned down the perverted pair on Monday after police turned a deaf ear to his pleas for justice for his tortured tot.

Now in hiding, Keyds has become a hero on YouTube and Facebook with hundreds of thousands of fans from all over the world pledging support. …

Keyds’ nightmare began a year ago when daughter Deimantela told him about a meeting set up by his then fiancee with judge Jonas Furmanavicziusa and the Speaker of Lithuania’s parliament, Andrius Us.

The pair allegedly raped and abused the youngster who reported her ordeal to her father.

But a year long campaign for a police investigation failed when detectives told Keyds there was not enough evidence to proceed with a case.

Too bad Keyds didn’t check to see if the bigwig bureaucrats were certified “play rangers” before he let them near his daughter.

Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX) says there’s an entire community of people across the world who say that their sexual orientation changed from gay to straight. But they’re not getting their message out, the group says, because libraries across the country refuse to carry literature that describes these experiences or any studies that support them.

So a book like “My Genes Made Me Do It!: A Scientific Look at Sexual Orientation” — which argues that sexuality is shaped by a variety of factors, not just biological — can’t get a spot on the school library shelf.

Neither can “You Don’t Have to Be Gay,” which describes author Jeff Konrad’s struggle to overcome his unwanted same-sex attractions.

If you want to see your book on school shelves, you have to take a very different point of view — i.e., you have to promote homosexuality to children.

“Baby Be-Bop,” the coming-out story of a gay teen, which includes descriptions of his sexual encounters in bathroom stalls with men he never talks to, makes the stacks.

So does “Love & Sex: Ten Stories of Truth,” which describes a gay teen’s relationship with his tutor with excerpts like: “Matt had one leg locked between mine, so that his d— was smashed between his stomach and my thigh. And as his hand jerked up and down on me his hips humped with the same rhythm.”

PFOX Executive Director Regina Griggs turned to the American Library Association for help. After all, the ALA has been promoting its annual Banned Books Week, devoted to shining a light on “the harms of censorship by spotlighting actual or attempted bannings of books across the United States” and advancing the Library Bill of Rights, according to which:

• Libraries should provide materials and information presenting all points of view on current and historical issues. Materials should not be proscribed or removed because of partisan or doctrinal disapproval.

• Libraries should challenge censorship in the fulfillment of their responsibility to provide information and enlightenment.

• Libraries should cooperate with all persons and groups concerned with resisting abridgment of free expression and free access to ideas.

But these principles only apply to books that advance the degenerate agenda. Consequently, the liberal establishment’s ALA blew off Griggs, refusing even to issue a statement opposing bans on ex-gay books. When Fox News tried to learn more, the ALA blew it off too, no doubt pleasing The Anointed One immensely.

Even in 1978, the left was Polanski’s most enthusiastic defender, via the socialist rag, Workers Vanguard No. 192, February 10, 1978 (scroll down):

Yet to the state of California Polanski is a “sex criminal” and it threatens more prison. It is no wonder why the victim chose to leave America. As he rightly observed, “They spent 42 days trying to drive me bizarre, but thank god I’m smart and rich…” (New York Post, 7 February). He went on:

“In America, California, I lose my wife, my baby, my friends, perhaps my sanity and almost my freedom. No, I say, no! The Nazis couldn’t take it away from me, nor could the grief of my losses. And this little whore and the California laws won’t either. I have given much and they have taken too much from me.”

Good for him. We are cheered to see that this ordeal of puritanical witchhunting has not broken Roman Polanski’s spirit.

Jennings failed to report a case of statutory rape of a 15 year old who confided in him that he had had sex with a much older man at a train station. Jennings’ did express concern that the boy use a condom.

•Jennings wrote the forward to a book called “Queering Elementary Education”. Bonus: Another familiar face wrote one of the endorsements on the book jacket—Bill Ayers. Ayers, of course, is the former Weather Underground bomber, and Obama pal, and ghostwriter, who worked with him on school related boards in Chicago during the nineties.
•Jennings and his organization, GLSEN sponsored conferences where homosexual activists instructed children age 14 and up on how to perform homosexual acts. How bad was it? When a recording from one of these conferences became public, the firestorm that ensued became known as “fistgate”.

•Jennings in 1997 reportedly praised Harry Hay of the North American Association for Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which promotes the legalization of sexual abuse of young boys by older men. •Jennings has a history of ridiculing and demeaning Christians: Reportedly said of Christians—“ F___ ‘em” while speaking at Marble Collegiate Church in March of 2000.

The media are whitewashing Jennings, so the blogosphere needs to speak out loudly, and Americans need to demand this pervert resign.

Post editors should read their own columnists

The Washington Post Editorial Page today lashes out at “Roman Polanski’s apologists,” a group it says is “typified by the comments of Swiss filmmaker Otto Weisser, Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, film and TV celebrity Whoopi Goldberg” and includes “a number of Hollywood luminaries — Martin Scorsese, Jonathan Demme, David Lynch, to name but a few” as well as “European political and cultural authorities.”   This hodgepodge of Limbaughian Demons — Hollywood celebrities and decadent Europeans — “don’t let basic facts, or even simple decency for that matter, get in the way of their defense of this notorious director.”

What a righteous stance.  For some reason, though, Fred Hiatt’s brave editorial crusaders overlooked two of the most wretched defenders of Polanski:   their very own columnists.   The Post’s Richard Cohen announced that “it’s alright with me if Roman Polanski is freed by the Swiss authorities” and disgustingly used the word “seduced” to minimize Polanski’s act of child rape.  The Post’s Anne Applebaum called Polanski’s arrest “outrageous” and invoked virtually every defense scorned today by The Post Editors, and thereafter, when responding to critics, spouted outright falsehoods to suggest that the 13-year-old girl consented (while arguing that the real victim was Applebaum herself, who had to endure mean emails in response to her column).

In a sane world, both Anne and Richard would have been canned for their defense of a man who drugged, liquored up, performed cunnilingous, then vaginally and anally raped (that would be rape rape, as in, she said “no” many times, rather then “statutory” rape, Whoopi, you idiot) a 13 year old girl. Again, without consent. In a sane world, the people who approved those opinion pieces would have, at a minimum, been demoted to inter-office mail delivery.

This is not a sane world, though. It seems to be a world where a major American newspaper coming to you from the heart of our nations’ capital can print disgusting pro-rape pieces blaming the victim, then conveniently forget about those same pieces. One where entertainment idiots can back a child rapist because he has been so artistic. It’s times like this that I wish we still had some of the same frontier justice we had a few hundred years ago.

With the state Legislature forced to make dramatic cuts in the prison budget and a three-judge federal panel having recently ordered California lawmakers to release as many as 40,000 inmates in response to the scandalous overcrowding of the California state prison system, it seems like an especially inauspicious time for the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office to be spending some of our few remaining tax dollars seeing if it can finally, after all these years, put Roman Polanski behind bars.

I vehemently disagree with the L.A. Times’s Patrick Goldstein, who gives his article the apologetic title “Roman Polanski still being hounded by L.A. County prosecutors,” on this one. This creepy coward escaped punishment by fleeing the country for decades. I definitely think child molestation, drugging, and rape are worth spending money on prosecution. If Goldstein doesn’t think so, I’d be interested to know what crimes he does think worth pursuing.

Update: More media apologists, and some with major conflicts of interest!

Update 2: Sadly, it’s looking like a slap on the wrist for this atrocious crime after all these years.

A paedophile with a 30-year history of abusing children is being prescribed Viagra on the NHS… Roger Martin, 71, merely has to visit his GP to obtain the libido-enhancing drug, even though experts warn it will enable him to continue preying on children despite his age. … He does not have to tell his GP about his criminal past and even if he does, doctors cannot take convictions into account. …

He has forced himself on a string of youngsters and his latest assault was on an 11-year-old girl last year.

But when he was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court yesterday a judge chose not to send him to prison after being persuaded he ‘wouldn’t be able to cope’ with a spell behind bars.

Apparently the judge doesn’t much care if little girls are “able to cope” with being molested by a pervert.

Liberalism is a criminal ideology, based on the concept of stealing from the industrious to buy votes from the shiftless so as to impose creeping totalitarianism. So it should be no surprise that a government run by liberals will always favor fellow criminals.

But don’t think this could ever happen under ObamaCare. The guy is 71; what are the odds of him getting so much as an aspirin?

North Carolina State Senator R.C. Soles is a long time fixture in the state house in Raleigh. He is also the subject of many years of rumors and innuendo about child molesting. Recently he’s been accused of just such a crime by a young man that was 15 when Soles supposedly accosted him.

The news is full of all the relevant details of the case. The long whispered history, the warnings given local authorities and the name of the latest accuser. There is something about Senator Soles, though, that didn’t seem to make the news upon the allegations, however. The fact that Soles is a Democrat seems to have missed the attention of the NC media.

In fact, a Google search of the story finds that the media forget to mention that Soles is a Democrat about half the time.

There are also some stories of Soles’ purchase of a house to hush up one victim and allegations of all sorts of wrong doing. Unfortunately, his party seems to be left out quite a lot in these stories.

Of course, if it were a child molesting Republican in question, each story would have led with “Republican Senator accused of child molestation.”

Typical.

Over at Media Bistro, we find an odd story that has it all: foul language, boorish behavior, sexual harassment, a male U.S. Navy officer, and a female journalist. Only the story isn’t what you might think it would be considering the ingredients. In this case it is the naval officer filining a complaint aganst the female reporter for sexual harassment.

Media Bistro has learned that US Navy Commander Jeffrey D. Gordon has filed a sexual harassment complaint against the Miami Herald’s Carol Rosenberg with Gordon claiming that Rosenberg made comments about Gordon’s “sexual orientation,” repeatedly showered foul language upon him, and made comments of a sexual nature to him in the presence of others.

The complaint outlines the explicit nature of Rosenberg’s accusations that the commander had sexually assaulted a Muslim prisoner in his charge. According to Gordon, Rosenberg wondered aloud…

…in front of another journalist with reference to why 9/11 co-defendant Mustafa Al Hawsawi was seated on a pillow in court:

“Have you ever had a red hot poker shoved up your a**? Have you ever had a broomstick shoved up your a**? Have you ever had anything in your a**? How would you know how it feels if it never happened to you? Admit it, you liked it? No wonder why you like to stay in South Beach on your Miami visits.”

Rosenberg, to CNN’s Jamie McIntyre in front of roughly 15 journalists in the Guantanamo Commission’s press center:

To Jamie – “Aren’t you in the BOQ (Bachelor Officers Quarters)? I didn’t think you were in tent city because these people (military public affairs escorts) are so far up your ass that I figured you must be in the BOQ.”

To Me [Gordon] – “Why isn’t he in the BOQ? You’re kissing his a** so much that I can’t believe that you’re letting him stay with the rest of us. Do you love him?”

Sheeese! If Gordon’s claims are to be believed, apparently Carol Rosenberg really hates the U.S. military!
