Not long ago, Pam Geller told the story of an ACORN office in Florida that had destroyed all the Republican voter registration forms it had gotten during a 2008 voter registration drive.

Geller had a first-hand account of this crime from one Fathiyyah Muhammad, an Obama voter that is a registered Republican. She is also an African-American.

“This is my first experience” with ACORN, Muhammad said. “This was before Obama got the nomination, long before then….I heard about this group that was paying $3.00 per person, to go out and to get people to sign up to vote. So I went over, I thought that well this is a good way to make some money because I know everybody, you know. I went over there and this guy signed me up and everything, and gave me my little pad, all this stuff.”

Muhammad dutifully went out and registered a bunch of Republican voters in Jacksonville and returned to the ACORN office to turn in her results. However, the ACORN representatives were incensed to find out that her registrations were for Republicans and not Democrats.

She saw ACORN officials in Jacksonville throw out the Republican registrations she made. “They just discarded those, they weren’t valid. All of the registrations… they just threw those out.” Yet she says that she is sure that the people she registered were actually going to vote: “Yes, they all were going to vote, I just didn’t want to get anybody just to get the three dollars, I wasn’t desperate for three dollars.”

ACORN is not in the business of registering voters. ACORN is in the business of enlarging Democrat voter rolls and it doesn’t matter to them how they do it.

Dozens of forged and fraudulent absentee ballots from people registered to vote on the Working Families Party line were filed in the Sept. 15 primary elections in Troy [New York], the Times Union has learned.

Many of the questionable ballots were filed under the names of students and people who live in government-subsidized housing and other downtown areas. Still others were submitted on behalf of voters who were alleged to have signed the ballots earlier this month, but those people have not lived in New York state for at least a year, records show.

Documents at the county Board of Elections show the fraudulent ballots were handled by or prepared on behalf of various elected officials and leaders and operatives for the Democratic and Working Families parties.

As the Times Union doesn’t bother to note:

The Working Families Party is not about working people or families and it isn’t really a party. The WFP is a wholly owned subsidiary of ACORN. Bertha Lewis co-chair of the Working Families Party is the Executive Director of New York ACORN. New York ACORN leader, Steven Kest was the moving force in forming the party and WFP headquarters are located at the same address as ACORN’s national and New York office at 88 Third Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.

WFP is essentially a money funnel which pays for an aggressive door to door canvas. Largely funded by unions, the WFP is ACORN’s “political arm” in New York State. Candidates supported by the Working Families Party and issues supported by ACORN are both advocated on the door steps of target voter homes as they share one major voter canvas.

This would be the same ACORN Obama surreptitiously paid $800,000 for election services during the 2008 campaign.

In the aftermath of the O’Keefe/Giles videos, the Senate voted 83-7 to limit the torrent of taxpayer money flooding into ACORN’s coffers. This means nothing. WFP is just one of literally hundreds of front groups ACORN hides behind.

Nothing short of a RICO investigation will rid the country of this rapidly metastasizing cancer. Good luck getting one past the Attorney General with the former Senator From ACORN residing in the White House. If our rulers would be brazen enough to kill an investigation into Black Panther goons intimidating voters at the polls, the odds of them digging up ACORN by the roots are nil. The same corrupt thugs indulging in the same crimes will continue to wallow in our money under different names.

Former Gov. Sarah Palin’s political action committee gave excessive contributions to two well-known Republicans and also is facing demands from the federal government for more detailed financial information on a number of fronts.

The deficiencies are highlighted in a five-page letter sent Aug. 19 by a Federal Elections Commission staffer to SarahPAC treasurer Tim Crawford. The FEC wants answers by Sept. 24.

Crawford has already stated that they acknowledged the problems, and fixed them. But, the FEC wants even more, including disclosures on the work people are being paid to do, travel, and fundraising expenses. Meanwhile, the same FEC completely blew off contributions by non-existent people such as “Doodad Pro,” “Goodwill,” and many others, not to mention Mickey Mouse, the offensive line of the Dallas Cowboys (which was fake) and Tony Romo (which was fake.) The Obama campaign refused to release the records, and the FEC never pressed them.

“Goodwill” made over 1,000 donations, totalling $17,375. “Doodad Pro” gave $19,500. Paging the FEC!

The FEC also, and more alarming, completely blew off the ability of people to make fraudulent donations to the Obama campaign through sloppy credit card acceptance practices, which allowed, yes!! donations from overseas, in violation of federal regulations. And

Surprisingly, the great majority of Obama donors never break the $200 threshold.

In previous elections, a good chunk of donations were above the $200 mark. Calling the FEC.

As of July 28th, the Obama campaign has still failed to finish returning $669,000 in tainted contributions. FEC, please pick up the white phone. No, not red one, the white phone.

Now, I am not saying PalinPAC shouldn’t be called to account if they did wrong. But, it is interesting that the FEC ignores the obvious illegalities by Obama, as well as other Democrats, and goes after Palin.

In the Handy Guide for Newspaper Opinion Columnists, this is called shooting fish in a barrel. Or hitting a slow-pitched softball.

Four Tennessee state representatives, all Republicans, have signed up to be plaintiffs in a lawsuit against President Barack Obama, aimed at forcing him to prove he is a United States citizen by coughing up his birth certificate.

Let me just say what all the world is now thinking, including their fellow Republicans on the Hill: This is dumber than a box of rocks.

In fact, Gail spends the vast majority of the opinion article getting personal and insulting, not that that should be any surprise when dealing with a liberal. She finally gets around to what she thinks constitutes physical proof

Casada, who is the House GOP caucus chairman, told a Tennessean reporter that he thinks Obama does have a U.S. birth certificate, but he should make it widely available so we can “move on.”

Ahem, Rep. Casada? Sir? Obama’s campaign did just that. A long, long time ago. They put it on their Internet site. Obama’s mother was a U.S. citizen. His father was from Kenya.

The man was born on Aug. 4, 1961, in Hawaii. That, fellows, is a state. As in the “United STATES of America.” It counts. See?

How on earth could the man have gotten a driver’s license, Social Security card and the keys to the White House without being a U.S. citizen?

Ahem, Gail? He did not put his birth certificate on-line. He put a copy of a certificate of live birth, which some think was falsified. It sure wasn’t one based on 1961, as they would not have had the fathers race as “African-American” back then. And, Gail, honey? Well, more like cookies all day, based on her photo, but, I do not want to get caught up in the insults that the left likes to throw, how do illegals get those same things. Well, not the White House, of course.

And, Gail, baby? Why does a man spend hundreds of thousands, and perhaps over a million dollars, defending lawsuits, when he could pay $10 for a copy of the original birth certificate? Do you have an explanation? Is it really too much to ask for actual, physical proof? McCain provided a birth certificate.

Now, look, to be clear, I believe Obambi is a natural born citizen. My personal little theory is that he was born out of wedlock, and his Mom wanted to make it look like he was legitimate. As good a conspiracy theory as any other. But, why does a man fight so hard to show the physical proof? Heck, I can walk upstairs and get my original BC out of my fireproof safe (really need to put it in the safety deposit box, eh?). Why is this so difficult for Barack?

The House Democrats’ trillion dollar spending bill, approved on January 21 by the Appropriations Committee and headed to the House floor next week for a vote, could open billions of taxpayer dollars to left-wing groups like the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). ACORN has been accused of perpetrating voter registration fraud numerous times in the last several elections; is reportedly under federal investigation; and played a key role in the irresponsible schemes that caused a financial meltdown that has cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars since last fall.

A more pernicious organization than ACORN would be difficult to imagine. As noted above, it helped cause the financial meltdown by using the deranged Community Reinvestment Act to extort banks into making bad loans to privileged minority groups — with the assistance of slimy lawyers like Barack Obama. The chances of any money flushed down ACORN improving our economy are obviously nil.

Only with the media completely in the tank for the Moonbat Messiah could Dems even temporarily get away with passing off their gargantuan handouts as “stimulus.”

The good news is, we won’t have to pay for all of it — because the scale of Democrat waste and corruption is so vast, we don’t have enough money. The next generation will pay, and the one after that. The Anointed One has promised “trillion-dollar deficits for years to come.”

JANE SKINNER: breaking election news, we have reports of possible voter intimidation in some way — pennsylvania. republicans saying that two black panthers have been blocking the doorway of one polling locations. rick, what are the details on this? what are you hearing?

RICK LEVENTHAL: i do not even know where to begin, but we have reached a polling place in the city of philadelphia. one of the two black panthers who was allegedly blocking the door is standing right over here, with an accused us of intimidating voters because we were here with a camera and microphone. he did not answer questions, other people here have confirmed that another person in black panther attire was holding a night stick and apparently the concern was that they were intimidating people who were trying to go inside to vote. a republican poll observer actually called the police, the police were here and we miss them, they came and left. that person called the police is here. why don’t you tell us — step down off the curb, if you do not mind. what is going on here?

CITIZEN: we got a phone call that there was intimidation going on. i walked up to the door, two gentlemen in black panther guard, one brandishing a nightstick, standing in front of the door. they closed ranks as i walked up. i am a veteran, that does not scare me. i went inside and found full- watchers, they said they had been here for an hour — i went inside and found poll-watchers, they said that they had said not to let people outside because black people are going to win no matter what. at that point, i spoke to him, we would not get into a fistfight, i said, and i called the police.

LEVENTHAL: the person with the nightstick was escorted away, which i just confirmed inside. but the implication is that you were telling me that the black panthers were there to intimidate white voters from coming to this location?

CITIZEN: anyone who is not going their way, i do not know. someone in front of a polling place with a nightstick, that is intimidating for all voters.

LEVENTHAL: this is the first time i have heard of black panthers being stationed outside of a polling place. the one gentleman who is still here, he is a poll-watcher?

CITIZEN: yes, and he can wear what he wants.

LEVENTHAL: the other person was not allowed to be there with a nice that?

CITIZEN: you cannot stand with a nightstick anywhere, that is a weapon. obviously, you cannot stand around with a weapon menacingly in your hand under any circumstances.

LEVENTHAL: that is situation, as far as we know it. we have heard of other incidents in the city, including voting machines breaking down. we heard of an incident not far from here where far — all three machines broke down. people did wait, most of them. lines have dissipated. i have not made it inside yet, we had a skirmish in front of the door. apparently there is voting going on as well. at this point, apparently anyone who wants to vote here can vote here.

SKINNER: i know that they do not have enough people to man ever falling site, but as far as you understand the police have come and gone. is anyone monitoring in case someone is still hanging around?

LEVENTHAL: well there are poll watchers still standing here, we’ve been to at least a half a dozen polls around here and I haven’t seen any police officers, they don’t want a police presence to intimidate some voters, they did escort one gentleman out of here

SKINNER: It’s true in some places they don’t want police on sight, plenty going on there for you

GOP Election Board members have been tossed out of polling stations in at least half a dozen polling stations in Philadelphia because of their party status.

A Pennsylvania judge previously ruled that court-appointed poll watchers could NOT be removed from their boards by an on-site election judge, but that is exactly what is happening.

A President/Community Organizer Obama would appoint partisan apparatchiks like this on-site election judge at a federal level.

It is the duty of election board workers to monitor and guard the integrity of the voting process.

Denying access to the minority (in this case Republican) poll watchers and inspectors is a violation of Pennsylvania state law. … Those on site are describing it as “pandemonium” …

Comments McCain-Palin spokesman Ben Porritt:

Election board officials guard the legitimacy of the election process and the idea that Republicans are being intimidated and banned for partisan purposes does not allow for an honest and open election process.

But an honest and open election process is part of the old way. We’ve been promised Change.

Nonetheless, America’s political Left are furious about it. Are they furious about the lawbreaking? Not at all. They are furious that the truth is out. Below, for example, is the comment from the widely-read Leftist blog TPM. All the rage is about who it was who let the cat out of the bag. There is not a shred of regret or concern about the aunt staying on after a court ordered her to go. As usual with the Left, propaganda matters far more than truth or the law

Here’s how the right’s big eleventh-hour smear on Obama was carried out. First the Murdoch-owned Times of London reported Thursday that Obama’s aunt, Zeituni Onyango, is living in a Boston public-housing complex. It’s unclear how the paper learned of the woman’s presence in the U.S. From there, the story quickly got taken up by the right-wing echo chamber. Fox News (also Murdoch-owned, of course), Drudge, the Boston Herald, and various conservative blogs — as well as some mainstream outlets — began breathlessly hyping the story. But the Times had been unable to tie up one key detail. It reported:

The Times could not determine their immigration status and an official at Boston City Hall said that Ms Onyango was a resident of Flaherty Way but not registered to vote on the electoral roll. However, that Ms Onyango made a contribution to the Obama campaign would indicate that she is a US citizen.

But that was easily taken care of. The Associated Press was the first to confirm, in a story posted this morning, that Onyango is here illegally after her request for asylum was rejected by an immigration judge four years ago. But note the way in which AP seems to have obtained the information. High up in the story, it reports:

Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one a federal law enforcement official. The information they made available is known to officials in the federal government, but the AP could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved in its release.

In other words, it looks like someone in the Bush administration leaked the information, with the goal of throwing a last-minute wrench into Obama’s campaign. And someone else confirmed it, with similar motives.

On the record, of course, the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, a unit of the Department of Homeland Security, is telling reporters it can’t comment on any individual person’s immigration status. It would appear to be a violation of department procedures, at the least, to leak such information.

We’ve seen this same tactic used recently by the Bush administration. Earlier this month, law enforcement sources leaked the news, also to the AP, that the FBI has begun a nationwide investigation into ACORN. Again, the obvious purpose of the leak was political — to bolster a Republican campaign to stoke fears about voter fraud, in an effort to de-legitimize an Obama win. The Justice Department still has not confirmed the existence of the investigation.

Barack Obama’s aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.
Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as “Aunti Zeituni” in Obama’s memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango’s case.

Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcment official. The information they made available is known to officials in the federal government, but the AP could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved in its release.

Onyango’s refusal to leave the country would represent an administrative, non-criminal violation of U.S. immigration law, meaning such cases are handled outside the criminal court system. Estimates vary, but many experts believe there are more than 10 million such immigrants in the United States.

The AP could not reach Onyango immediately for comment. No one answered the telephone number listed in her name late Friday. It was unclear why her request for asylum was rejected in 2004.

Onyango is not a relative whom Obama has discussed in campaign appearances and, unlike Obama’s father and grandmother, is not someone who has been part of the public discussion about his personal life.

A spokeswoman for U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, Kelly Nantel, said the government does not comment on an individual’s citizenship status or immigration case.

By the way, did the article mention she gets government benefits and donated to Obama? Like we said, its Obama’s campaign in a nice nutshell.

That’s about as transparent a red flag as an outfit like the AP is usually willing to give. And there you have it. Quite likely working in concert with the McCain campaign, a Bush administration official is leaking details on an immigration case to try to help McCain three days before the election. It’s shades of Bush I’s riffling through Bill Clinton’s passport files just before the 1992 election in a desperate last minute gambit as they were swirling down the drain.

It would probably be monumentally idiotic to ask if Josh has anything other then a feeling, you know, proof, eh?

TPM Muckraker is seeing all sorts of conspiracies, and seems to find the timing suspect. I guess an “11th hour smear” is only OK when it involves Bush’s drunk driving or made up TANG documents.

Oh, and the Messiah, whose staffers are constantly checking the veracity of those who donate (snicker), is going to give give her donation back.
