If there was a single unifying argument that defined Obamaism from his earliest days in politics to his Presidential campaign, it was the idea of post-partisanship. He was proposing himself as a transformative figure, the man who would spring the lock. In an essay published in The Atlantic, Andrew Sullivan, a self-proclaimed conservative, reflected on Obama’s heady appeal: “Unlike any of the other candidates, he could take America—finally—past the debilitating, self-perpetuating family quarrel of the Baby Boom generation that has long engulfed all of us.”

First, if you’re quoting Andrew Sullivan as an actual conservative, get out the chest high hip waders. Second, Obama was always good at talking the talk, but, could never walk the walk, because he himself was intensely partisan to the far end of the progressive spectrum. There is nothing wrong with that, people have their own set of beliefs. It’s when one acts on beliefs, forcing them on people, that the problems start. And James Pethokoukis at The American Enterprise finds 11 stunning revelations from a confidential Larry Summers memo to Obama in December 2008 that was a key source for the New Yorker article. Here are a few of them (the bold is James’ writing, the italic is Larry Summers own writing

The stimulus was about implementing the Obama agenda. The short-run economic imperative was to identify as many campaign promises or high priority items that would spend out quickly and be inherently temporary. … The stimulus package is a key tool for advancing clean energy goals and fulfilling a number of campaign commitments.

Team Obama knows these deficits are dangerous (although it has offered no long-term plan to deal with them). Closing the gap between what the campaign proposed and the estimates of the campaign offsets would require scaling back proposals by about $100 billion annually or adding new offsets totaling the same. Even this, however, would leave an average deficit over the next decade that would be worse than any post-World War II decade. This would be entirely unsustainable and could cause serious economic problems in the both the short run and the long run.

The financial crisis wasn’t just Wall Street’s fault. A significant cause of the current crisis lies in the failure of regulators to exercise vigorously the authority they already have.

The first one is the most significant, which highlights what we all inherently know, that the point of the stimulus was to give payback to campaign contributors and elected Democrats, as well as pushing Obama’s far left progressive agenda without regard for realities. Solyndra is the perfect example.

Oh, and then we see the “death panels” crop up even back then

IPAB was there at the very beginning. There are two possibilities for making tough decisions on the long-run budget, which could be done either separately or together: creating an executive-branch “health board” (which focuses on one part of the issue) and a Congressionally chartered commission (which could focus more broadly).

From the beginning, Team Obama wanted to implement the panel of 15 unelected and unresponsive bureaucrats to make decisions on our personal health care.

Doug Ross writes “The revelations in this document alone should be enough to bring down the Obama administration. The level of dishonesty laced throughout the Obama White House is both shocking and repellent.” Let’s add some fuel to that fire, looking at the very first paragraph in the Larry Summers memo

In the absence of fiscal stimulus the economy is projected to lose 3 to 4 million jobs in 2009. Together with the jobs we have already lost and population growth, we will be 7 million jobs short of full employment. The unemployment rate is projected to rise above 9 percent and not projected to start falling until 2011.

That is Summers saying what would happen without the Stimulus, which is mostly what happened with the Stimulus. Except, with the Stimulus, jobs loss was greater, and the unemployment rate didn’t start to fall until late in 2011, partly due to people dropping out of the job market, essentially giving up.

Summers also concluded that a core package more than $300 billion was not “feasible to design sensible proposals along these
lines that go much beyond this total size.” And then they go on to propose hundreds of billions more.

There are all sorts of interesting tidbits in both Pethokoukis’ article along with the Summers meme, which provided a blueprint for spending obscene amounts of taxpayer money for political payback and pushing Obama’s extremist political agenda, which wasn’t even in the same landmass as his supposed “post-partisan” coming together speeches. The fact that Van Loon used the German term Weltbuergertum for the concept was unremarkable to me at the time as I already had a useful command of German by then but on thinking about it in more recent times it seemed obvious that the idea must go back to those two second-rate German philosophers, Karl Mark and his mentor, GWF Hegel. And in Mein Kampf Hitler also describes himself as originally being a Weltbuerger — though he changed his tune on that later, of course

On checking, however, I found that the idea actually goes further back again — to the classical German poet JW von Goethe. So the idea obviously has some simplistic appeal and now seems to be standard Leftist gospel. To the Left of today, patriotism is absurd and contemptible. Democrat politicians have to pretend otherwise in a country as patriotic as the USA but elsewhere on the Left — particularly in the educational system — Weltbuergertum is the only respectable stance, though not usually by that name

And as a means of avoiding war etc., the idea does have some appeal. Where it falls down, however, is in the composition of the world as we actually have it. Do I want to be a citizen of a polity that includes the corrupt and bloodthirsty tyrannies of Africa, the negligible civil liberties of China or the starvation of North Korea — not to mention the corruption and hate of the Arab world?

I can quite cheerfully imagine myself as a citizen of a polity that comprised all the English-speaking democracies but until the rest of the world reaches that standard of civility and respect for the individual, leave me out of it.

The National Assessment of Educational Progress reports that only 1 in 4 high-school seniors scored at least “proficient” in knowledge of U.S. citizenship. Civics and history were American students’ worst subjects. Professor Damon said that for the past 10 years, his Stanford University research team has interviewed broad cross sections of American youths about U.S. citizenship. Here are some typical responses: “We just had (American citizenship) the other day in history. I forget what it was.” Another said, “Being American is not really special. … I don’t find being an American citizen very important.” Another said, “I don’t want to belong to any country. It just feels like you are obligated to this country. I don’t like the whole thing of citizen. … It’s like, citizen, no citizen; it doesn’t make sense to me. It’s, like, to be a good citizen — I don’t know, I don’t want to be a citizen. … It’s stupid to me.”

A law professor, whom Damon leaves unnamed, shares this vision in a recent book: “Longstanding notions of democratic citizenship are becoming obsolete. … American identity is unsustainable in the face of globalization.” Instead of commitment to a nation-state, “loyalties … are moving to transnational communities defined by many different ways: by race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, and sexual orientation.” This law professor’s vision is shared by many educators who look to “global citizenship” as the proper aim of civics instruction, de-emphasizing attachment to any particular country, such as the United States, pointing out that our primary obligation should be to the universal ideals of human rights and justice. To be patriotic to one’s own country is seen as suspect because it may turn into a militant chauvinism or a dangerous “my country, right or wrong” vision.

The ignorance about our country is staggering. According to one survey, only 28 percent of students could identify the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. Only 26 percent of students knew that the first 10 amendments to the Constitution are called the Bill of Rights. Fewer than one-quarter of students knew that George Washington was the first president of the United States.

Discouraging young Americans from identifying with their country and celebrating our traditional American quest for liberty and equal rights removes the most powerful motivation to learn civics and U.S. history. After all, Damon asks, “why would a student exert any effort to master the rules of a system that the student has no respect for and no interest in being part of? To acquire civic knowledge as well as civic virtue, students need to care about their country.”

Ignorance and possibly contempt for American values, civics and history might help explain how someone like Barack Obama could become president of the United States. At no other time in our history could a person with longtime associations with people who hate our country become president. Obama spent 20 years attending the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s hate-filled sermons, which preached that “white folks’ greed runs a world in need,” called our country the “US of KKK-A” and asked God to “damn America.” Obama’s other America-hating associates include Weather Underground Pentagon bomber William Ayers and Ayers’ wife, Bernardine Dohrn.

The fact that Obama became president and brought openly Marxist people into his administration doesn’t say so much about him as it says about the effects of decades of brainwashing of the American people by the education establishment, media and the intellectual elite.

Leave it to University liberals to suddenly take strong stands just when it makes absolutely no difference at all.

Domestic terrorist William Ayers, close personal friend to Barack Hussein Obama, has finally been denied something by a publicly funded university and at this late date it is a meaningless gesture.

For decades and decades this anti-American cretin has been spreading his hatred of the United States to students at the University of Illinois in Chicago but now after spreading his maliciousness for so long he is contemplating retirement.

But the 60’s radical and bomber William Ayers wanted one more little accolade from UIC, one more little piece of paper he could frame for his wall of liberal praise. He wanted to be awarded UIC emeritus status.

But the board voted unanimously not to award this murderer this last little plum. Why? Because this gem of a guy dedicated his 1974 book to Sirhan Sirhan the murderer of Bobby Kennedy. And out of a stroke of bad luck for the anti-American prof, Kennedy’s son just happens to fill a spot on the university’s board. After an “emotional statement” he convinced the others that Ayers was not worthy of emeritus status.

So what does all this mean? Absolutely nothing. Emeritus status is nothing but a title. It bestows no actual benefits like money or office space or any other remuneration. It’s just an honorific. In actuality Ayers isn’t really denied anything concrete. No benefits, no money, no real status or degree… nothing.

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with the decision and feel as the board does that Ayers does not deserve the title. But where was this stiffened spine, where was this paean to principles back in 1987 when terrorist Ayers entered the university in the first place? Where was all this angst over Ayers’s evils when he could have been stopped from spreading his hate to our students? Where were the questions of Ayers’s suitability when it could have done the most good by stopping him from living off the taxpayers of the very government he tried to destroy?

Oh but NOW these university types stand up for principle. NOW these people find that Ayers is just too much for them to take. NOW they take a stand right when doing so is entirely meaningless to do so.

Way to go UIC.

Not long ago Barack Obama, for those who were spellbound by him, had the stylishness of JFK and the historic mission of FDR riding to the nation’s rescue. Now it is to Lyndon B. Johnson’s unhappy presidency that Democratic strategist Robert Shrum compares the stewardship of Mr. Obama. Johnson, wrote Mr. Shrum in the Week magazine last month, never “sustained an emotional link with the American people” and chose to escalate a war that “forced his abdication as president.”

A broken link with the public, and a war in Afghanistan he neither embraces and sells to his party nor abandons—this is a time of puzzlement for President Obama. His fall from political grace has been as swift as his rise a handful of years ago. He had been hot political property in 2006 and, of course, in 2008. But now he will campaign for his party’s 2010 candidates from afar, holding fund raisers but not hitting the campaign trail in most of the contested races. Those mass rallies of Obama frenzy are surely of the past.

Indeed, the successful Democrat candidates in the current primary cycle have, for the most part, run the other way when The One comes offering campaign support. The reality of the “Obama Touch” phenomenon vis a vis New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts still lingers in the queasy Democrat gut.

Carrying on this failure meme a bit further, Nile Gardiner presents ten reasons for Chairman Zero’s precipitous decline in popularity and effectiveness. Herewith Mr. Gardiner’s guide to the Obama meltdown:

1. The Obama presidency is out of touch with the American people
In a previous post I noted how the Obama presidency increasingly resembles a modern-day Ancien Régime, extravagant, decaying and out of touch with ordinary Americans. The First Lady’s ill-conceived trip to Spain at a time of widespread economic hardship was symbolic of a White House that barely gives a second thought to public opinion on many issues, and frequently projects a distinctly elitist image. The “let them eat cake” approach didn’t play well over two centuries ago, and it won’t succeed today.
2. Most Americans don’t have confidence in the president’s leadership
This deficit of trust in Obama’s leadership is central to his decline. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll, “nearly six in ten voters say they lack faith in the president to make the right decisions for the country”, and two thirds “say they are disillusioned with or angry about the way the federal government is working.” The poll showed that a staggering 58 per cent of Americans say they do not have confidence in the president’s decision-making, with just 42 per cent saying they do.
3. Obama fails to inspire
In contrast to the soaring rhetoric of his 2006 Convention speech in Chicago which succeeded in impressing millions of television viewers at the time, America is no longer inspired by Barack Obama’s flat, monotonous and often dull presidential speeches and statements delivered via teleprompter. From his extraordinarily uninspiring Afghanistan speech at West Point to his flat State of the Union address, President Obama has failed to touch the heart of America. Even Jimmy Carter was more moving.
4. The United States is drowning in debt
The Congressional Budget Office Long-Term Budget Outlook offers a frightening picture of the scale of America’s national debt. Under its alternative fiscal scenario, the CBO projects that US debt could rise to 87 percent of GDP by 2020, 109 percent by 2025, and 185 percent in 2035. While much of Europe, led by Britain and Germany, are aggressively cutting their deficits, the Obama administration is actively growing America’s debt, and has no plan in place to avert a looming Greek-style financial crisis.
5. Obama’s Big Government message is falling flat
The relentless emphasis on bailouts and stimulus spending has done little to spur economic growth or create jobs, but has greatly advanced the power of the federal government in America. This is not an approach that is proving popular with the American public, and even most European governments have long ditched this tax and spend approach to saving their own economies.
6. Obama’s support for socialised health care is a huge political mistake
In an extraordinary act of political Harakiri, President Obama leant his full support to the hugely controversial, unpopular and divisive health care reform bill, with a monstrous price tag of $940 billion, whose repeal is now supported by 55 per cent of likely US voters. As I wrote at the time of its passing, the legislation is “a great leap forward by the United States towards a European-style vision of universal health care, which will only lead to soaring costs, higher taxes, and a surge in red tape for small businesses. This reckless legislation dramatically expands the power of the state over the lives of individuals, and could not be further from the vision of America’s founding fathers.”
7. Obama’s handling of the Gulf oil spill has been weak-kneed and indecisive
While much of the spilled oil in the Gulf has now been thankfully cleared up, the political damage for the White House will be long-lasting. Instead of showing real leadership on the matter by acing decisively and drawing upon offers of international support, the Obama administration settled on a more convenient strategy of relentlessly bashing an Anglo-American company while largely sitting on its hands. Significantly, a poll of Louisiana voters gave George W. Bush higher marks for his handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, with 62 percent disapproving of Obama’s performance on the Gulf oil spill.
8. US foreign policy is an embarrassing mess under the Obama administration
It is hard to think of a single foreign policy success for the Obama administration, but there have been plenty of missteps which have weakened American global power as well as the standing of the United States. The surrender to Moscow on Third Site missile defence, the failure to aggressively stand up to Iran’s nuclear programme, the decision to side with ousted Marxists in Honduras, the slap in the face for Great Britain over the Falklands, have all contributed to the image of a US administration completely out of its depth in international affairs. The Obama administration’s high risk strategy of appeasing America’s enemies while kicking traditional US allies has only succeeded in weakening the United States while strengthening her adversaries.
9. President Obama is muddled and confused on national security
From the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to the War on Terror, President Obama’s leadership has often been muddled and confused. On Afghanistan he rightly sent tens of thousands of additional troops to the battlefield. At the same time however he bizarrely announced a timetable for the withdrawal of US forces beginning in July 2011, handing the initiative to the Taliban. On Iraq he has announced an end to combat operations and the withdrawal of all but 50,000 troops despite a recent upsurge in terrorist violence and political instability, and without the Iraqi military and police ready to take over. In addition he has ditched the concept of a War on Terror, replacing it with an Overseas Contingency Operation, hardly the right message to send in the midst of a long-war against Al-Qaeda.
10. Obama doesn’t believe in American greatness
Barack Obama has made it clear that he doesn’t believe in American exceptionalism, and has made apologising for his country into an art form. In a speech to the United Nations last September he stated that “no one nation can or should try to dominate another nation. No world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will succeed. No balance of power among nations will hold.” It is difficult to see how a US president who holds these views and does not even accept America’s greatness in history can actually lead the world’s only superpower with force and conviction.

One could add an 11th reason, since things should always go to eleven:

11. America finally woke up
Once punch-drunk, guilt-ridden, kumbya-chanting independent voters — who ignored all of the warning signs (Wright and ACORN and Ayers, oh my) and believed the “historic” candidate Obama would be a “great uniter” — have, by the grace of Fox News, talk radio and the Tea Party movement, finally rubbed their sleepy eyes and realized that all the warnings had been dead-on accurate. The truth about this magnificent hoax of a president had been out there plain as day, long before his immaculate inauguration or even his Grecian-pillar speech, despite the coverups by the fawning liberal press.

Back to some of Mr. Ajami’s closing thoughts on the obsolescence of O:

There is little evidence that the Obama presidency could yet find new vindication, another lease on life. Mr. Obama will mark time, but henceforth he will not define the national agenda. He will not be the repository of its hopes and sentiments. The ambition that his would be a “transformational” presidency—he rightly described Reagan’s stewardship in these terms—is for naught.

This kind of thinking, however, should not induce cockiness among the Right. Sure, Obamafail abounds. But conservatives must not grasp defeat from the jaws of victory. To lift the Obama’ regime’s own imagery: ass must be kicked, a boot applied to the neck.

Selective support to conservative candidates nationwide is critical to sink more nails into the Obama coffin. In fact, they had better be deck screws, and plenty of them. Because this man-child President has a vicious anti-American agenda and he will not go down without a fight. If not exactly “transformational,” Obama’s presidency has certainly been, and will continue to be, utterly destructive to the traditional American ideals and principles that made this country the most prosperous and free in the world. That is, unless he and the Democrats are stopped, through defeat after defeat at the ballot box in 2010 and 2012.

New information has surfaced confirming what all conservatives knew back in 2008 but could not prove. Today we know a large group of so-called  ”journalists,” elitist academia and activists conspired to buffer the blow-back from Jeremiah Wright’s vile and outrageous statements. The mission was to protect Obama, a member of Wright’s church for over 20 years. The plan was to charge anyone on the right, and especially high profile persons like Karl Rove, with charges of racism.

These freakin liberals were communicating back and forth about how to keep Wright respectable, no matter what he said by attacking conservatives. The conversation ranged form burying the story to an all-out defense. See a video below.

According to records obtained by The Daily Caller, at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

Michael Tomasky, a writer for the Guardian, also tried to rally his fellow members of Journolist: “Listen folks–in my opinion, we all have to do what we can to kill ABC and this idiocy in whatever venues we have. This isn’t about defending Obama. This is about how the [mainstream media] kills any chance of discourse that actually serves the people.”

“Richard Kim got this right above: ‘a horrible glimpse of general election press strategy.’ He’s dead on,” Tomasky continued. “We need to throw chairs now, try as hard as we can to get the call next time. Otherwise the questions in October will be exactly like this. This is just a disease.”

Katha Politt at the Nation believed burying the story was not the right thing to do but is quoted saying:

I hear you, but I am really tired of defending the indefensible. The people who attacked Clinton on Monica were prissy and ridiculous, but let me tell you it was no fun, as a feminist and a woman, waving aside as politically irrelevant and part of the vast rightwing conspiracy Paula, Monica, Kathleen, Juanita…”

The controversy raged within this group which released a statement on April 18th 2008 saying the attacks against Wright and Obama was:

“a revolting descent into tabloid journalism and a gross disservice to Americans concerned about the great issues facing the nation and the world.”

We knew the media was hiding, and maliciously and falsely debunking the story about Obama and Jeremiah Wright, but we couldn’t prove it. Today, for posterity – assuming this report is true, the cover-up is documented. Now we know how they shutdown the Obama-Bill Ayers -Weatherman relationship.

Is Barack Obama a Socialist? To avoid the question is to avoid personal accountability to our nation, our individual rights, and our freedoms. If Barack Obama is a socialist, the evidence will speak unequivocally, his policies will confirm it implicitly and his stated agenda will answer the question undeniably. Marxism is Barack Obama’s pedigree, Socialism will be President Obama’s legacy. It is undisputed by the President himself. Since college Barack Obama writes that he sought out and surrounded himself with radicals, communists, socialists and anti-government/anti-capitalist groups that suited his comfort zone. Today, President Obama has surrounded himself with self-professed communists, socialists, anti-free market, anti-Constitution and anti-free speech advisors who have openly stated that they seek to control every facet of American society and totally transform America to suit their own agenda. That can only occur at the expense of individual freedoms, the heavy burden of taxation, the undermining of faith, the destruction of the middle class and imposed misery upon the American people. The demise of America is part of the strategy to clamp the vice-grip of socialism on a free society. A war is erupting today among the liberals themselves with extreme radicals accusing the elitist Progressives of not moving fast enough. The radicals who have thrown their lot with the Democrats have become increasingly impatient as they see a tide of sentiment turning against the President. Panic has set in with fears that the radical agenda, that has come within their reach with the Obama/Pelosi/Reid team at the helm, may be slipping away.

What are the elements of socialism and does Obama meet the criteria? How does a country know that socialism is being imposed on its people by its government? Here is merely a partial checklist. Key to socialism is “redistribution of wealth,” which is Obama’s constant mantra (check). Government leaders assume an elitist mentality and ignore the will of the majority of the people (check). The government derides or circumvents the Constitution that protects the people from tyranny at the hands of the government (check). The government takes control of the majority of the nation’s economy by nationalizing industries such as auto, insurance, banks and health care and attacks free enterprise (check). The President puts a Czar over the nation’s vital manufacturing sector that is quoted as saying…”we know the free market is nonesense” (check). The government blurs the checks and balances between the executive and legislative branches of government (check). The government passes and advocates personally invasive laws that will force compliance by citizens with the threat of fines and legal penalties (check). The government force-feeds laws before they are read, that allow the government to fill in the blanks without oversight after the laws go into effect – such as the reported hundreds of incomplete mandates in the Health Care law (check). Freedom of speech is threatened when the government’s stated agenda is to control the citizen’s use of the Internet via an empowered FCC, to shut-down opposition Radio-TV-Cable stations with massive taxation, to continue to target groups that peacefully speak out against government policies as “the enemy” and then direct radicals to “go get in the face” of those who dissent peacefully (check, check, check, and check).

Particularly key is to ridicule the faithful while attempting to transition the very faith itself into a core element of socialism called “social justice” (check – Read: “Darwin’s Racists” at DarwinsRacists.com).

Still on the agenda is what the President has long said he desires. It is what all Socialist, Communist and Fascist governments desire, a civilian militia as the enforcement arm that can kowtow citizens into compliance. Obama’s Manufacturing Czar is quoted as saying that “…we kind of agree with Mao that power comes largely from the barrel of a gun.” President Obama has clearly stated that he wants a civilian militia as well-armed, as well-funded and as powerful as our U.S. military. The question is: Why? And, do we take him at his word? Politicians, the Press and the American voter will be held accountable as participants in the decline of this great nation whether they support Obama’s agenda, ignore it, or hide behind the veil of ignorance. Choice still remains, though the President recently stated there can be “too much information.” No sir, not in a free nation, but certainly under a socialistic regime.

Other misdeeds by Ayers and Dohrn include leading the Maoist terrorist cult the Weather Underground; publicly advising people to kill the rich and their own parents; instigating riots; participating in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters, the Capitol building, and the Pentagon; killing police officers; inventing the “fork salute” in honor of the Charles Manson killings; plotting to set off a nail bomb at an officers dance at Fort Dix; boasting in the September 11, 2001 New York Times of having no regrets about acts of terrorism; and worst of all, using their own living room to launch the political career of Barack Hussein Obama.

Jodie Evans of Code Pink has a rap sheet that includes smuggling $600,000 to terrorists fighting American troops in Fallujah and serving as one of Obama’s top fundraisers. She now seems to hold the position of the Taliban’s ambassador to Washington.

Readers will recall that Ayers, Dohrn, and Evans have teamed up on behalf of Hamas before. Assisting the bloodthirsty terrorist outfit in its campaign to annihilate Israel appears to be their follow-up to the disastrously successful Manchurian Moonbat project.

That these vermin have placed one of their own in the White House means it is not a good time to be Israeli — or American.

Many of the lies he told, like that nobody who earns less than $250,000 a year will ever, EVER, see a tax increase of any kind, for any purpose, or that there will never, EVER be a lobbyist in the Obama White House, have already – even by many Democrats – been recognized for what they are, and relegated, along with Obama’s own meanings for the words “hope” and “change” to the status of just that many more of the dusty (or oily) items to be found in any politician’s standard bag of tricks.

The greatest lie of all, though — that Obama is a “moderate”, come riding on a white horse to smite the Washington Old Boys and other foes of liberty – started falling apart in the first months after his inauguration; has continued to do so until the present day; and is now hanging in shreds around his knees, exposing him to be hardly a moderate, but far to the extreme left — the hottest, “reddest” thing since Joe McCarthy’s wettest wet dream.

It all started during his campaign for the presidency, when Obama described radical bomb-thrower (really, thrower of real bombs) Bill Ayres, as just some guy who lives near him and that he served with on some boards. Then there was Jeremiah Wright, whose church he attended for twenty years without ever, he says, actually hearing a sermon. Then ACORN, which he worked for and, until its recent “demise”, actively supported (Oh, my dear, you wouldn’t believe the horrid lies they told about ACORN), and SEIU, with which he promised to consult every day and before every decision, and whose former president, Andy Stern, really DID say and mean “workers of the world, unite”, and has been Obama’s most frequent White House visitor.

Add to these radical associations some three DOZEN hand-picked “czars”, all with the strongest far-left ideologies, with some being openly Communist, Marxist, or Maoist, and all embracing “Social Justice”, today’s code word for European Socialism.

Add still more: Add “lap dog” Cabinet Secretaries, eager to curry Presidential and Party favor by rote acceptance and repetition of every one of Obama’s beliefs and policies, and the myriad executive agencies that do their bidding, and you have a functioning “shadow government” poised, by a series of “end runs” around the Congress and the Constitution if when necessary, to seize control of nearly every aspect of American life and to put into effect – even if the Democrat majority in both Houses of Congress is lost –every one of Obama’s radical policies.

That’s the way Obama does it: Never directly; never in the open; never in any way for which he might have to accept personal responsibility; but always by speaking silently, through someone else’s lips, to do what he wants done.

That’s why it was the Apollo Alliance and not the White House that directed the writing of the “Stimulus Package”; why it was Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and all their minions that wrote the dread Healthcare Reform Act; why it was Attorney General Eric Holder’s idea – never, of course, discussed with the President — that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed should have a criminal trial in New York City, with all of the Constitutional rights of any American citizen; why, when Obama’s approval numbers plummeted in relation to that trial, Holder, “independently” changed his mind; and why Fox News and the Tea Party patriots are attacked regularly and with vigor, to Obama’s benefit and apparent pleasure, but never with words from Obama’s own mouth.

Conservatives look to the coming Mid-term elections to put an end to Obama’s control of Congress, and hope to make him a one-term “lame duck” until he’s ousted in 2012. Whether that can happen is unknowable at this time, but the way Obama has set things up, it looks like, even if it does, he may still get everything he wants, anyway: Cap and trade – even if not passed by Congress – can still be put into de facto effect by the EPA, which, backed by a Supreme Court decision that carbon dioxide is a pollutant, is free to make almost unlimited administrative rulings against it and against any technology or application that produces it. Even if amnesty isn’t passed by a new, more Republican Congress, ICE can still continue its long-standing, federally-directed policy of blindness, deafness and sloth , leaving illegal immigration free to continue effectively unimpeded; Conservative talk radio and television can, even if not eliminated by a “Fairness Doctrine” passed by Congress, still be limited and kept under control by Obama’s boys at the FCC. And the internet, another of Obama’s stated targets for control, can join conservative media under the thumb of the FCC simply by having the government declare it a “public utility”.

To win in November will be a good start, but unless we exercise constant vigilance, starting right now, Obama could still ride his red horse to victory. We must see to it that that cannot happen. Our country, our Constitution, and the future of our children all depend on us.

…when I was getting ready to leave Ayers told me I couldn’t go until I slept with his roommate and his brother. At this point Bill and I had slept together just once. I was sexually inexperienced, having had only one serious boyfriend with whom I had recently broken up.

At first I thought Ayers was joking. I got up; and went to the door. He moved quickly to block me at the doorway. He locked the door and put the chain on it. He said that I had no choice but to do as he said if I wanted to get out of there. He claimed that I wouldn’t sleep with his married roommate because he was black — that I was a bigot.

Then as now, bullies could get the gullible to do pretty much anything by brandishing the “racism” charge. Donna submitted to rape.

I felt trapped. I had to get out of the situation I was in and because he was so effective a guilt-tripper, I also felt I had to prove to him that I wasn’t a bigot. I got up from the couch and walked over to the black roommate’s bed and put myself on it and he f*cked me. I went totally out of my body. I floated beside myself on the outside and above the bed looking at this black stranger f*ck me angrily while I hated myself.

There you have it: politically correct race relations in a nutshell.

This is also the world that produced Barack Hussein Obama in a nutshell. Like Ayers, his childhood mentor Frank Marshall Davis was also a communist and a sexual deviant; Davis has bragged in print about raping a 13-year-old girl.

Although the media has done all it could to obscure Obama’s background, anyone even mildly curious could have found out well in advance that he is the product of a cultural sewer. Yet they submitted, just like Donna Ron, and for the same sick reasons.

The University of Wyoming has canceled a speech by former 1960s radical William Ayers after it raised hundreds of objections from citizens and politicians over the man who became an issue in the 2008 presidential campaign.

In a statement released by the university, UW President Tom Buchanan supported the decision to cancel Ayers.

“The University of Wyoming is one of the few institutions remaining in today’s environment that garner the confidence of the public. The visit by Professor Ayers would have adversely impacted that reputation,” Buchanan said.

At least they listen. Of course, perhaps they should have considered the impact prior to inviting the domestic terrorist.

He was invited by the UW Social Justice Research Center, a privately endowed center that studies problems of oppression and inequalities among different social groups in society.

In other words, the Young Campus Commies For Redistribution Now invited a guy who takes pride in bombing American citizens.
