Hot Air disagrees, and thinks that being taken in by this kind of conspiracy theory makes conservatives look bad. There is a Hawaii newspaper that announced the birth in 1961. I don’t think he can be disqualified based on his adoption by his stepfather. Plus, a disqualification would prevent him from being clobbered at the polls, and I think a good clobbering is what the Democrats really need!
Joe, I always value what Michelle Malkin has to say, and I don’t know all the laws. If you take a good, hard look at the Constitution, it is not an easy determination.
It’s not so much the adoption, but whether or not he was an Indonesia citizen, and I guess we do not know that. Paperwork seems to say he was, but… What if he was an Indonesian citizen, and Indonesia does not accept dual citizenship? What does the US do about that? I don’t know. What does Indonesia do if you don’t actively give up your citizenship? I don’t know. Maybe Berg will find out.
What I do know is, there is no reason he should not prove his citizenship. There is question about it. So why not. I’m for clobbering them on EVERY issue. If we do not want him disqualified, what if we do not clobber him? What then? We may find out, because if the lawsuit goes away - oh well, we’ll never know. Screw the people. We have no rights.
I love making fun of this absurd accusation as it is based on the idea that Obama’s mother had foresight and knew that her son would be running for President one day. I suppose an angel came to he in Kenya and told her to go to the U.S. and fake that he was born their so that he could become the Messiah in years to come. In fact the Angel said God made sure the hospital staff in Hawaii would conspire with her. I guess this miracle will start a new religion.
I would not be surprised to find out that it is liberals in conservative clothing that are spreading such nonsense as they do more to aid the liberal cause than the conservative one and it is certainly not needed as Obama can fall on his own lack of merits.
Kerwin, would you not expect any Presidential candidate to prove that he is natural-born? It should really be simple, shouldn’t it? Just show a certified bc.

Just as a hunch,if Obama was truely born in Kenya it was probably in the maternity ward at Mombassa Hospital, formally known as Katherine Bibby Hospital.As Obamas grandmother attests to have witnessed. Since The country of Kenya was at that time still a British Ruled Colony and under siege by the rebel Mao, Mao movement for independance, it would be a good bet that records of such births would be kept in the British ancestry archives, and also with the British Secret Service in London.
Dominic: Mombassa is where the Berg lawsuit claims Obama was born. Two more lawsuits have now been filed - interestingly, one in Hawaii.
