The Magical Disappearing SNL Skit!

Posted on October 7, 2008

Hey, guess what? It’s reappeared. I was shocked to see this, let me tell you. It was funny and surprisingly frank. Less shockingly, the video somehow disappeared. Fortunately, the video has re-emerged. Watch it now while you still can, and check here for the full transcript.

Michelle suspects that George Soros and the Sandlers made a few calls and had it yanked. I’m inclined to agree… SNL cut a little too close to the bone for their liking, I’d wager. Is it just a coincidence that NBC.com is yanking questions about the skit? Unlikely.

It’s too bad. The skit was great… if only SNL was willing to stand behind it.

If Obama gets elected the First Amendement will only apply to those who subscribe to the Democrats way of thinking!!! All others
    need not apply!!!
They can dish it out to Palin and everyone else but they can’t take it.

Soros was behind the nasty attack on General
Patreaus and the NYT ran the headline “General Betray Us.” But according
to them that was okay!!! What goes around comes around, thank god someone is exposing
Soros and his friends. Incidently he was kicked out of England for trying to effect their monetary markets and politics!! That
should be a red flag to anyone lving and breathing!!!!

Take off the tinfoil hats, people. The original video has an overlay caption near the end with the text “People who should be shot” under the names of a real couple involved in the sub-prime crisis. That’s breathtakingly irresponsible in the current financial environment, and is almost certainly the “minor issue” that they pulled it to correct.

The Daily Show is regularly far more scathing to the Democratic party, and far funnier about it too, and it hasn’t vanished from the air, or net just yet. You can put down the pitchforks.
