Yes, it actually is CNN. I’m just as amazed as you are.
Please, wake up America! I’m surprised, and glad to see CNN cover this in a factual manner, but does anyone watch Anderson Cooper? Thanks to Dirty Harry for the video.

All of that, and Drew STILL didn’t talk to the McCain campaign about it? Geez, even when they attempt to try to maybe carry out their tasks as reporters, they fail miserably.
This is credibility issue–not just for Barack Obama, but for the Media as well.
Barack Obama has had long associations with unsavory characters. Politicians are known by the company they keep. If your supporters are convicted crooks, America hating, racist ministers, far left political associations like ACORN and Chicago mobsters, then the electorate should know about this and vote accordingly.
The Obama campaign made a great deal about Obama being eight years old when Ayers was acting as a terrorist, but that is not the point. Ayers was an unrepentant radical when Obama first met him. Ayers was having pictures made of himself standing on American flags.
Ayers made no secret of his beliefs. If Obama chose to associate himself with Ayers, it says something about Obama’s character. If Obama was “palling around with the Ku Klux Klan” then Black people in Chicago would have drawn a harsh view of Obama. But, “Palling around with unrepentant terrorists” is apparently okay in Chicago political circles.
The interesting question is why the New York Times and now CNN are talking about this, after ignoring it for months.
First, the Times and CNN published their commentary when the public is less likely to be read this. The New York Time publishes a report on Saturday–their lowest circulation day of the week. This is how a newspaper tries to sweep an issue under the carpet while pretending to be unbiased. CNN filed a report on a Monday, its lowest viewership day.
Next, the Media get a chance to soften and dismiss the issue by giving the Obama camp a chance to frequently comment, but not McCain’s supporters. The Media get to misstate John McCain’s message.
When their slanted information is attacked the Tomes and CNN have the defense that they covered the issues. This is biased and very reluctant reportage designed to cover their behinds.
So, according to that kind of “logic,” any neo nazi gets a pass because Hitler committed suicide long before they were born?
Or white supremacists of today get a pass because Sheets Byrd (D-WVA) et al no longer openly are members of the KKK?

Of course,the CNN crew did all they could at the end to take the starch out of the relationship. They also failed to mention that Annenberg was a bust and Obama has obscured his role with the foundation.
Oh yeah, and they neglected to mention that it was “September 11″, 2001, when he expressed his wish that they had “done more.”
Boy are we grateful for crumbs these days.

Or Obama’s comment that Ayers is mainstream despite Ayers continuing radicalism–seeing education as a new way of furthering leftist revolutionary goals (”La educacion es Revolucion!”).
Still, I find the CNN report pretty surprising given how far the media have gone to provide cover for Obama on this issue and repeat his campaign’s talking points.
Ahhh-yeah!!!! Finally CNN woke up and smelled the capitol on fire, thanks to Bill Ayers. Seriously, doesn’t everyone have a relationship with an unapologetic domestic terrorist like William Ayers?

I really can’t believe this is a CNN story. This is the second time in a week that I have seen a link to a story by CNN’s Special Investigations Unit and Drew Griffin really seemed to parry Cooper’s attempt at spin for Obama. Is it possible that Griffin not a liberal media hack? I never watch CNN so I have never seen much if any of Griffin’s work. I will be watching for it in the future.
CNN still is trying to defend Obama on his connection with Bill Ayers. Its not a full fact finding report as it should be. Then did run the story but they did try to change the connections between Ayers and Obama. The fact is Obama helped and supported the schooling for radical ideology. And that Ideology is what we are at war with. So it be no different if Obama worked with Bin Laden according to CNN and cooper as long as Obama says he does not agree with his views that makes it ok and that is a bunch of BS.
If this was McCain it would be on every MSM news channel 24/7 pounding the information into the American people!

How consistent. Why would he have a problem in sitting down and talking to Iran or anyone else? He’s quite comfortable socializing and working with people with the most extreme negative beliefs about America. As the pieces come together, the incomprehenalbe is easy to follow.
