Disgusting smear of the day: Sarah Palin molests teenage boys

I’m trying to figure out why this woman still has a career. Why??
First of all, given Randi Rhodes’ line of work, isn’t criticizing a woman for being too opinionated a bit hypocritical? I surely don’t begrudge anyone that. I’m opinionated and I know it. It’s not a problem unless you start doing the kinds of things the left routinely does: try to silence and intimidate those who disagree with you, smear and insult those with different opinions, etc. Yet here is Randi Rhodes not only calling Sarah Palin too opinionated, but she accuses her of sleeping with teenage boys!
What in the hell is wrong with this woman!? And who listens to her? I just don’t understand how it is that anyone gives her the time of day. You’ve got her POW smear against John McCain. She faked a mugging to cover up the fact that she was drunk (although she always sounds like she’s hammered to me). She’s joked repeatedly about assassinating President Bush. She doesn’t reserve her vitriol for the right only, though — her classiness was also directed towards Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro, whom she called “f*cking whores”, among other things.
And now she’s launched a despicable smear against Sarah Palin with absolutely no basis in reality and no evidence to back it up — anything to make her look bad, right? Who cares how baseless an accusation it is? I don’t think there’s a single low Randi Rhodes won’t stoop to.
Yet for some reason, she continues to have a career in the public eye. I’m not sure if there is anyone who has less class and is more hate-filled than Randi Rhodes. She embodies everything that is wrong with the Left, yet she’s embraced by them. It says a lot.

Rhodes is a horrible human being. She also said last week that John McCain had been well treated in Vietnam. Detestible person.
What sponsors pay for ads on her show? Is she on the radio or TV? This is disgusting.
While I agree Rhodes is a candidate for a flushing (as in commode)I do not see the comment as molesting boys, but rather that she thinks that they would be subjected to political talk.
I am NOT a supporter of “The One”, and I am a strong supporter of constitutional rights, but sleaze is sleaze and I do not think that people who try to use it deserve a second look (or listen). Too bad the libbyloons think she is a prophet….
OK, so Rhodes suggested that Palin is the kind of woman who has unhealthy relationships of some kind with teenaged boys. She sis not say Palin molests tennaged boys. Yes, I do agree that in context her comment is highly suggestive and distasteful, but then, considering the source, what else can one expect?

Just one more reason that Air America died an unnoticed and unlamented death, in my town at least.
The only funny thing about Rhodes is that she has the perfect face for radio, but her voice is even worse than nails on a chalkboard.

I have never heard of Randi Rhodes, but she is a lying, foul mouthed [edited] who should be put in a mental institution or else in a box and sunk to the bottom of the ocean! She is not fit to live on this earth and send out her poison messages and lies! She, in her entirety, wouldn’t make a pimple on Sarah Palin’s butt! Sarah Palin is a lady and this woman is nothing but a stray, rabid dog!
I have never heard of Randi Rhodes either, but who cares about what she is saying? The proof is in the pudding. This statement may not be true, but there are other statements that are true pertaining to Palin. Face it a zebra never changes his stripes; even if he does decide to wear lipstick.
Look… I would greatly appreciate it if you didn’t group “the Left” as one lump. I think you’d find that the overwhelming majority of the left doesn’t appreciate Rhodes.
At the same time, if you’re going to bash people for smearing, keep your observations objective.
Beyond that, Palin’s asking for the same smearing you give Rhodes; while Rhodes’ comments edge on outright lies told about others, Palin’s statements about her fiscal record are on the same level, if not factually more substantially dishonest, because no one’s expecting Rhodes’ offhand remarks to be representative of anything but her own–clearly f*cked–opinion.
To even begin to get into the extraordinary irony of a right winger saying stop the ACLU, when it was Republicans who delivered the ACLU some of their best ammunition (a la 14th amendment) is well beyond the scope of this comment, but something you should consider about your own self-label and what it could mean to others in a stereotypical fashion before applying the same labels to “those damn lefties.”
Take it easy.
Now, there was a comment by a Johnny Reb (not too original) about Rhodes being a “first class” — whoa, that’s giving her (whoever she is) more credit than might be due her, isn’t it.
But, language aside, I’d rather talk issues, and when we talk about class, Palin seems to have it. It doesn’t take rich parents to hand down class to their children, just parents who put the proper effort into raising their children. We’ve got two candidates with class, McCain and Palin, while on the other side there is a candidate who may compare himelf to Jesus, but other than wide-eyed followers, there is no substance to such a statement.
Randi Rhodes has a simple problem, really:

Understand
Normal
Thinking
Keep it up Randi and then hopefully more and more people on the left will see what a lost cause the democrats are. She’s the best thing/enemy the Ms Palin could have because who in their right mind would want to be associated with Rhodes.
I’ve got a different thought then most people here:
Thank you Randi Rhodes for giving Gov. Palin a SIGNIFICANT boost among 18-19 year old males.
