Democrats praying for Gustav’s landfall — if it hits during RNC “God’s on our side”

Posted on August 30, 2008

Recall the drooling hyperventilation over the nontroversy surrounding Stuart Shepard’s tongue in cheek prayer for rain during Emperor Obamessiah’s speech?

Czech this out.

Yeah, that’s right. This little “yay, can’t wait for some more death and mayhem in New Orleans” interlude brought to you by former DNC chairman Don Fowler and Rep. John Spratt (D-SC). This after every Democrat of note who spoke at their convention used Katrina (the failure during which was partly attributable to FEMA, but the bulk of the blame is properly at the feet of Blanco/Nagin and the Democrat Machine that has run Louisiana for decades) as bloody red meat. Are we to believe these people about anything?

Thanks for the tip Larwyn!

Update: It appears Michael Moore has no problem invoking God while chuckling about natural disasters.

Update II: If it happens, it looks like they have a plan to make it into a political positive.

The contingency plan - a worst-case scenario if the storm devastates Gulf Coast areas - would turn Republicans into Red Cross-type volunteers who would help collect donations, food and goods for storm victims.

McCain’s campaign motto is “Country First,” and he said helping people during an emergency will take precedence over accepting the nomination.

“It wouldn’t be appropriate to have a festive occasion while a near-tragedy or a terrible challenge is presented in the form of a natural disaster,” McCain told Fox News today.

I am from South Carolina and whenever I have the misfortune to run into Mr. Spratt, I throw up a little in my mouth.

He is a piece of human trash.

This is not surprising.Thinking back to when Katrina was happening,I have memories of a very gleeful press, all too in sinc blaming Bush.Rather than the Mayor or Governor being called to task.Nearly everyone of the homes flooded with multiple cars in the yards. Individual responsibility not being put on the front burner.I know many poor people, myself included, who have a plan to save me and mine.I`m not waiting for the magic helicopter out of the heavens. The 9th ward always floods with a heavy rain.Victim mentality permeates ones life. You can`t hold me responsibility for being lazy and stupid, you made me that way. Now,you have to take care of me.So says Obama.I may be poor, but I am proud.I admire people who work hard and get RICH. They get to spend their money however they choose. No DAMM gov. has the right to TAKE it.No FN Marxist either.

The Gustav storm just proves that the republicans hypocrisy has finally earned God’s wrath. That Shepard idiot got what he wished for, he just didn’t know what it was he deserved.

Doesn’t look like those synapses are firing for you Simon-Ohio. No, S-O, we are not doing the same thing the Democrats are doing. I can’t find where we have cheered the arrival of a potentially deadly storm for any reason. Don’t even know how you arrived at that illogical conclusion.

You RepubliNazis make me puke. You can’t build anything except wealth for yourselves. What you are best at is attacking anything or anybody that threatens one red cent of the money you’ve stolen from each other or the little guy.
You attack government and regulatory agencies until:
    1. Wild speculation in real estate nearly collapses the banking industry.
    2. An incompetent hack like “Brownie” (”heck of a job”) takes over FEMA.
    3. Start a WAR based on lies and greed.
Goodbye to this nest of vipers!
