McCain to announce VP pick this week?
Posted on July 21, 2008
That would be fantastic! I’m dying to know who his pick will be. This can breathe so much life and energy into his campaign… or completely kill it.
On a tip from Double Plus Undead, Bob Novak says:
Sources close to Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign are suggesting he will reveal the name of his vice presidential selection this week while Sen. Barack Obama is getting the headlines on his foreign trip. The name of McCain’s running mate has not been disclosed, but Mitt Romney has led the speculation recently.
The people I’d love to see are: SARAH PALIN, Bobby Jindal, Sen. Jim DeMint, Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson, and I’d be able to live with Mitt Romney. If he picks Joe Lieberman, which I don’t think he will but is still a possibility, well… I don’t know what I’ll do. I guess it’ll tell us where he holds the conservative base. I’d be beyond disappointed if he decided to go all maverick on us with this. He needs to pick someone who will complement him, meaning a conservative.

I think he should pick a woman. He would then be sending the message to Obama and especially the Democrats that he is going after Clinton’s supporters.
I just wish Senator McCain would name Gov Sarah Palin Veep already so the fun could begin (that is, fun watching the Dems and MSM squirm).
By the way, here’s the theme song when Sarah Palin makes her Veep center stage appearance at the Republican National Convention later this summer:

Oh, and yes it IS gonna be Palin. McCain’s already got this new ad up which essentially announces Palin as his pick (without ever having to mention her name).
It’s even got the McCain/Palin campaign slogan vs. Obama: “Don’t hope for new energy, vote for it.” –-

Think McCain will try to cover up other
war crimes committed by Israel like his
idol and father did? Remember the Liberty!
Interesting that those of us who have
lived in AZ for many years know about
threats McCain has made over the years,
how he has gone as far as calling people
and threatening to destroy their business
and family lives. How he married a daughter of a bootlegger who was convicted of a felony and tax fraud and yet still was able to
start a liquor business.
McCain - unstable and a threat to Americans.
“SARAH PALIN, Bobby Jindal, Sen. Jim DeMint, Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson, and I’d be able to live with Mitt Romney”.
You name a woman no one ever heard of except people in her state. A thirty minute governor, A real Conservative with no following, and two old men that would fight McCain all through the campaign for his NoDoz. You then say you could live with the candidate who should be running for president. And conservatives wonder why we are in the shape we are.
Jindal is the man! Here me now and believe me in a few weeks. We are looking at a Mccain Jindal ticket. All this latest ruse about Jindal not wanting the VP position was set up to curve speculations so the ultimate announcement will be a surprise.
