Fred Thompson Would Vet Judges For McCain?

I was starting to feel uncomfortable with McCain after he mentioned how he voted for Ginsburg to a bunch of Hillary supporters. This calms my fears a bit.

In a McCain administration, former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson would play a dominant role in selecting Supreme Court nominees and other judicial appointments, sources close to the McCain campaign and to Thompson tell us.

Eh, I’d be skeptical. He knows he’s weak on several fronts, so he’ll try to shore up support with “leaks” like this. If he’s serious, he’ll give Thompson a real job.
