Vets For Freedom ask a question many of us are wondering after Obama refused McCain’s invitation for a joint visit to Iraq.
The RNC have started an online clock counting days since Obama’s last visit to Iraq.

And isn’t Obama vulnerable to the argument that a man who’s pledged to meet unconditionally, one-on-one, face-to-face with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad really ought to meet at least once one-on-one with Gen. David Petraeus?
McCain is rightfully milking it for all its got too:
McCain has hitched on to a talking point that is echoing through Republican chambers of late — that Obama would more readily meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad than hold a one-on-one with U.S. Gen. David Petraeus, the head of Multinational Forces in Iraq.
“He could meet Gen. Petraeus and he could meet Ambassador [Ryan] Crocker, and he could see — he could see the fact that Sadr City is quiet. He could see that the Maliki government has taken control of Basra. He could see that the Iraqi military is leading the fight in these places with the support of American troops,” McCain said.
McCain has visited Iraq eight times since the war began. Obama has been to Iraq once, in 2006, before the surge credited with allowing the oil-rich nation a chance to rebuild.

And let us assume (for the sake of debate only) that everything you said about the WH and our armed forces is true.
The question stands. Why, is the Democratic candidate running for the office of President of the United States, Barack Obama, willing to meet without preconditions the leaders of Iran, North Korea, et al, and even the leaders of Hamas, but he is afraid to meet with General David Petraeus, a United States Army Officer?
Yankee Division Son nails it. Without preconditions for Amadinnerjacket, but to suggest meeting an American General!!! Well, thats nothing more than a political stunt!
Obama is an idiot and a coward.
Been sippin the kool-aid, haven’t you, Fred? A General has the duty to make an appraisal of the military situation when ordered to do so. General Patraeus has no political agenda. He presents facts.
But barking moonbats have no need of facts unless they fit into the mindset they are programmed with. When the truth doesn’t fit into the moonbat’s idological fantasy they call the bearer of truth a liar.
Only the truly stupid are taken in when liberals resort to such tactics. That is to say: liberals and the mentally challenged.
