MSM Propaganda — Keeping the lies about our armed forces alive
Posted on May 17, 2008
An AFP story about a group of cowardly little weasels presenting themselves as martyrs begins so:
Matthis Chiroux is the kind of young American US military recruiters love.
“I was from a poor, white family from the south, and I did badly in school,” the now 24-year-old told AFP.
“I was ‘filet mignon’ for recruiters.
The contempt by MSM elites for our armed forces is well-known, but to open a story with such a vicious lie is a journalistic felony. Normally, the ignorant haters in the MSM sneak a few jabs into the subconscious, kind of like old movies used to slip in a single frame for Coke. This was a telegraphed haymaker that should never have made it past any editor who’d jumped off the lobotomy line on the way to the newsroom.
The fact is, today’s American military is a highly professional force whose ranks are more highly educated and accomplished than their peer groups by nearly every measure. Additionally, the typical active duty member of the armed forces comes from a middle class background. The military is not stocked with drooling dolts who were duped by slick recruiters, as the reporter asserts and the “hero” of his story insists. Maybe this Chiroux guy (Chiroux…hmmmmm…that’s French right?…”surprising” that he’d shirk his duty and turn tail) is one of those very few drooling dolts who actually made it into the Army, but has a projection problem.
But truth be damned! When hacks are reporting on behalf of spineless weasels, you get what you get. Garbage in, garbage out.
One thing I can’t let slide. Check out Mademoiselle Chiroux’s “haircut.” Are we absolutely sure that this guy is actually an Army sergeant who got deployment orders to Iraq for June 15? We know that frauds abound in “Winter Soldier” circles…just a thought.
(Note: If anyone is tempted to throw “chickenhawk” at me for questioning the guts of these losers…save it or be proven a fool. I served 10 years as an active duty Marine.)

Can you please explain which part of that story is a lie?
Hey decidenator, if he has to point it out to you, you don’t deserve a reply from him.
ME, on the other hand, will explain it to you.
1. T-H-I-S G-U-Y W-A-S C-L-A-I-M-I-N-G S-T-U-P-I-T-Y.
2. T-H-E A-R-M-E-D F-O-R-C-E-S H-A-V-E N-O U-S-E F-O-R S-T-U-P-I-D P-E-O-P-L-E L-I-K-E Y-O-U.
I tried to go slowly so you could grasp the damn concept. Now go away.
Arrgghhhh!
Rosemary, honey, have you had a medical checkup lately?
This just in - there is no draft; there has been no draft for over 30 years. This “guy” is a volunteer, and the issue here is simply a matter of signing up to do something and then reneging on it. Of course, the “I wuz stupid” defense is nothing new, but it’s usually used in divorce court…
