Mother’s Day May Be Happy Father’s Day for Me

I thought I’d type a bit to update the readers while I have a chance. The inlaws are five hours away, and my wife has been having a few labor pains since about 4 a.m. They are still very spaced out, but more intense than before. She thinks she will give birth sometime today. She’s trying to hold out till the parents get here. Her water hasn’t broke yet, and she’s resting.

The baby will be a girl, and we are naming her Reagan Dalien. Yes, we are naming her after the greatest President in our lifetime. I’ll do everything I can to prevent her from growing up to be a liberal. Keep us in your prayers. I’ll update when possible.

Congratulations, Jay! Prayers, from my family, to yours, for a healthy and uneventful childbirth.

I have a 6-year-old daughter, myself. She’s a single child. They wrap you around their little fingers from the moment they’re exposed to air, I tell ya!
