Update: Its pretty clear from the angle of this other video that two fingers were used. I’m pretty sure he was only scratching.
I’m sure no one can pin-point this down as a certainty, but doesn’t it look like there is a pause for dramatic effect. This video has been making rounds in the pro-Hillary blogs, and I thought maybe everyone could take a look and tell me what they think. His finger goes up right after he says that Hillary was in her element. There is also a cheer immediately after it. Taylor Marsh is convinced. Surely he isn’t that stupid and classess is he? The Baltimore Sun Blog thinks its the finger too. I don’t know, maybe he was just scratchin?
Maybe controversy is being manufactured here where there really is none. Was the crowd watching the speech on monitors? If not, it would have been difficult to see the details of what he is doing for the crowd reaction to be for whats being accused. Then again, when you see his elitist smirk its easy to think he may have tried to slip that in incognito.

My first reaction was “did he just give Hillary the finger?” so I’ll go with that.

In all honesty, it looks like he’s just scratching his face. Moments earlier he scratched his jaw with his little finger, so apparently he’s an equal-opportunity scratcher and doesn’t discriminate against fingers. Let’s hope he at least discriminates against what’s being scratched and in front of whom.
He’s the type of guy that says two is better than one. So, he upped the ante and gave Hillary two fingers. She needs it and he needs the bad publicity, so it is a win win.

I didn’t even notice until someone else mentinoed it. People are trying way to hard to find fault with him.

Wow!! I got genuinely mad when I saw that. To think that he may be our next President!
Then I got relieved that it might be a misunderstanding when the updated 2nd paragraph said it was 2 fingers. I watched again, and..nope, he gave the finger and then paused/smiled for dramatic effect.

Obviously he flipped the bird in that way that we have ALL seen it done or did it ourselves. It’s the oops go eff yourself scratch routine. Anyone who doesn’t know about it was seriously born yesterday.
The crowd knew what he did, and he knew what he did–just look at that sh*t eating grin on his face.

I’ll admit that the side view seems to debunk the accusation, but I find myself

His and the audience’s reaction shows they both knew it could be interpreted as “the finger”.
I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that it was subconscious simply because there is no way in hell that anyone can conclusively prove that it was deliberate.

If you have any doubt watch these two videos. They were taken at different locations and on both videos right after he states Senator Clinton is in her element he makes the same gester. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Actually, the flap is a reflection on the American News Media. The news media is dominated by people who are complete morons focusing on delivering tabloid information to that part of the population classified as imbeciles. My kids were taught in grade school with high school reinforcement to not trust any news information. Obviously, they don’t buy newspapers nor watch TV news and tend to use the Internet where you can at least browse for mulitple opinions on the topic and make an intelligent decision about the veracity of an article.
It’s time for a new law: All news reporters are hereby considered vermin and a $.50 bounty will be paid by your local sheriff for each news person’s head delivered. Grin!
It looks like he is just scratching to me. His statement about Clinton being in her element was enough for the crowd to cheer, and also enough for his little smile.
Although, honestly, I think it would have been hilarious if he had. It’s probably my immaturity speaking, but I laughed aloud when I saw this video the first time.
