Posted on April 2, 2008
We will be moving to a new server soon, and other changes may take place…but this new theme has been in the works for a while. What do you think? Look around and let me know in the comments of praises and critiques.

hey, very nice guys! good job…..
now if we can just get rid of the ACLU and the UN [hey i can dream right?]everything will be perfect……
other than some of the graphics in the left sidebar need resizing to fit, I like it.
great. but remove the people on the right.
I like it, of course I liked to old Stop the ACLU also. This one looks a little “cleaner”.
Looking good!:)
Looks great Jay !! I still find the old blogspot site the best. Being we both began around the same time.
But the new diggs looks very profesional. Loving brotha.
Less cluttered - I like. I’m sure once you get the graphics adjusted for the side bar, it will work smother!
I wish there was a way for you to go to a two column format. Three columns makes it look way too crowded.
Nice.
I’m not sure if you see this but I think there should be a left side and a right side bar.
Balances things out IMO…
This look is nice and clean however and the background is easy on the eyes.
I like it, nice and clean. The colors are easy on the eyes for reading, which is, of course, the most important part.
The only thing I would recommend would be to increase the overall size, adding about 100 pixels or so to the main column, widening each side column by about 20 pixels. That would eliminate any run overs.
Im not crazy about the 2 side bars to the right, seems unbalanced.
I do like the background and the colors. Very easy on the eyes.
Regardless what it looks like I will keep reading.
Hey bro–
Didn’t even know you were working on a new design. Looks good.
I agree though about removing the crowd on the right side. I would also increase the size of the logo in the banner. Also, comments should be numbered.
Otherwise, nice work!
The center column is too narrow — particularly for graphics
I think that it will be easier to read, but you could add another 100 pixels to the width for me. And yes, I am the only person that matters.
CB, don’t get hung up on symmetry, it doesn’t happen in nature either.
Nice and clean. I like the new look. The middle column seems to be cutting off part of the affiliation banners, but otherwise, good job.
Very nice, much more elegant than the last.
I would say it’s a bit too narrow. IMHO, to to two columns or make it wider. Looks very cramped.
It’s the content, of course, that keeps one coming back…
Also, the “We need to make sure you are a human…” text is buried by the centre column.
Firefox 2, WinXPsp2
Widen it up a bit to allow sidebar graphics like that great AmericanProtest.net banner and you’ll be rollin’ fly and lookin’ phat!
The thing I like most about it is that the post cover half of the screen. With the old theme they were much narrower (at 800×600)
I like it Jay. Nice job.
The changes certainly makes the site look more respectable, but it still needs work to make it look really good. I think you should move away from the olive color, especially for text. I suggest making the blog entry column a little bit wider. Having both side columns on one side is not a bad idea though they could be better organized. Perhaps some of it could have it’s own separate page.
But all in all, definitely an upgrade.
Very clean. I like it!
