Obama Campaign Removes New Black Panther Logo From Website
Posted on March 19, 2008
Barack Obama’s campaign has removed an endorsement by the New Black Panther Party from its Web site, one day after the Illinois senator delivered a speech calling for improved race relations in America.
“The page in question has been removed from our campaign Web site,†Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor told FOXNews.com after inquiries about the endorsement. “It’s our policy with any content generated by a group that advocates violence.â€
The blogosphere was buzzing Wednesday about whether his campaign planned to remove the Panther posting.
The New Black Panthers, who inherited their name from the Black Panther Party of the 1960s, had the page on the Obama campaign’s public forums. The group’s message said it is backing Obama because he “represents ‘positive change’ for all of America. Obama will stir the ‘Melting Pot’ into a better ‘Molten America.’â€
Jim Hoft noticed this on Monday. Don’t say the blogosphere can’t make a difference.

Of course nobody in the media is reporting this except FNC.

Of course no one but FNC is reporting it. It’s a bogus story and that’s their specialty.
The “posting” was not put in place by the Obama campaign. Their website allows visitors to sign up and create profiles for themselves. That’s what it was. Either someone from the NBPP or someone posing as such created the account and the profile. When the Obama campaign learned of it, they removed it.
Non-story. Move on.
Not only is Obama a racist but his handling of the Rev Wright fiasco shows that he is a bald faced liar as well.
well of course it wasn’t put in place by the Obama campaign… Do you think they WANT people to know the black panthers support Obama? Why do you think they took it off immediately and are trying to keep it quiet? It was posted by the leader of the black panther group, shabbaz, who has said he posted it and that the group supports Obama.
The fact that the vehemently racist new black panther party likes Obama hs very telling. These guys have assailed Jesse Jackson as a week kneed uncle Tom. For Obama to have earned their respect is quite telling. I support Obama for president… of Uganda. He can take Rev. Wrong and the New Black Pussies with him.
