Obama pastor’s theology: Destroy ‘the white enemy’

Posted on March 17, 2008

When Obama talks about the issue of race and the black church, lets see if he touches on this:

While Barack Obama has responded to an admitted “firestorm” over his pastor’s racist and anti-American statements by cla[i]ming he didn’t hear them in person, Rev. Jeremiah Wright has defended himself in the past by referring to his foundational philosophy, the “black liberation theology” of scholars such as James Cone, who regard Jesus Christ as a “black messiah” and blacks as “the chosen people” who will only accept a God who assists their aim of destroying the “white enemy.”

“If God is not for us and against white people,” writes Cone, “then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill gods who do not belong to the black community.”

Read it all

These are the “black values” of your church of 20 years Barack. Will you explain them to America?

Just read “Dreams from my Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance”, they are Barry’s own words from when he was thirty-three years old. Amazon will not even give you a glimpse into the book, how odd is that in this election cycle? Also, his joining of Trinity is included in the book. It’s all right there, Jay. From the book, “Younger leaders, eager to make a name for themselves, upped the ante, peddling conspiracy theories all over town-the Koreans were funding the Klan, Jewish doctors were injecting black babies with AIDS.” Or “In the Catholic school, when it came time to pray, I’d pretend to close my eyes, then peek around the room. Nothing happened. No angels descended. Just a parched old nun and 30 brown children, muttering words. Sometimes the nun would catch me, and her stern look would force my lids back shut. But that didn’t change how I felt inside.” Or “That hate hadn’t gone away; it formed a counter-narrative buried deep within each person and at the center of which stood white people-some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives. I had to ask myself whether the bonds of community could be restored without collectively exorcising that ghostly figure that haunted black dreams.” Barry’s OWN words.

Obama has turned out to be just another political scandal and has just got caught and now is going to try to wiggle out of it. First Rezko, Second his wife’s comments, third his racist Anti-American pastor for over 20 years. What else do we not know what is in Mr. Obama’s closet? At this day an age we do not need the likes of Obama even considering a bid for the white house. You know how obama say this is Unfair well it is unfair for him to lie to the American people! He played us. Now he is going to make an excuse for his judgment he has made to call the man his friend and include him as a family member by calling him Uncle. But no matter what he says tomorrow his creditability is now down the drain with the American people. Just another politic that can not be trusted.

I think that we have seen the political death of Barack Obama…I don’t think that anything he can say at this AM’s press conference can repair the damage that this one incident has caused on his campaign and may have cast any doubts on the Democratic party fielding another African American candidate in the foreseeable future
