McCain Surrenders in Cincinnati
Posted on February 27, 2008
GOP Presidential hopeful and likely Nominee, John McCain symbolically surrendered the White House in 2008 to the Democrat Nominee when he apologized for comments made by Wild Bill Cunningham. Micheal Savage, syndicated bad boy of Conservative talk radio said that he showed that he was incapable of leading. When he was asked by a cnn reporter if he thought it was appropriate for Cunningham to use Barack Obama’s middle name in his opening speech McCain should have asked, “what is his middle name anyway?” and put John King on the spot.
Look, what is the problem? Cunningham called him Barack Hussein Obama which is his name. CNN got their panties in a twist because the Political Apathetic American Lemmings* out there would get the idea that he’s a Muslim, which hasn’t been totally disproven by the way. If he were so afraid of being tied to Islam and his Islamic past, then why is he running? It’s kind of like that photo that surfaced showing him in a turban and Somali elder garb. If he thought that was going to hurt his Presidential aspirations then why did he wear it in the first place?
The question at hand is whether McCain is capable of leading. Unless he is willing to attack those that he has “respect” for, he isn’t capable of leading. One can respect their enemy. As a matter of fact you should. But that doesn’t mean that you don’t attack them.
McCain needs to grow a set of testicles or he’s going to lose our freedoms for us. You cannot apologize for someone telling the truth. You cannot be afraid of someone you hired to fire up the crowd doing what you’ve asked.
