Watching the Clinton Campaign Crumble

Posted on February 10, 2008

I must admit to a certain degree of glee watching the decay of socialist Hillary’s campaign. Now her campaign manager is calling it quits. This followed a sweep of wins by her socialist opponent Barack Hussein Obama. CBS is even calculating that Obama has taken the lead in delegates.

In the delegate chase, Obama has pulled ahead of Clinton, even when the support of uncommitted super delegates is figured in. According to CBS News estimates, Obama holds a razor-thin lead with 1,134 delegates overall to 1,131 for Clinton.

Wow! Obama even won his second grammy! This guy has got to be JFK reincarnated! Momentum is on his side.

Yes, there is naturally a degree of glee in watching her crumble and cry. However, to keep the analysis simple and short for you, should we be raising the glass to her demise? With no conservative candidate to unite the base, don’t we kinda need someone like Hillary to unite against? Obama doesn’t talk about policy enough to know what to attack besides the lack of it. About the only thing that scares people about him is the rumor he is Muslim. He is young, playing as an outsider, charasmatic and motivating the youth. I just think he would be more difficult to beat in the general than Hillary.

Only if you want to condition the base to unite behind any schmuck with an “R” next to his name.
