TownHall Columnist Has It Backwards

TownHall.com columnist Janice Shaw Crouse claims in her latest article that Mitt Romney was forced out as a revolt by the people against online pundits, bloggers, and the Romney campaign pushing Mitt to the detriment of poor little Mike The Huckster and Juan MexiCain. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Mitt Romney was forced out by the unrelenting attacks on his religion by the bigoted Preacher from Arkansas with the assistance of the Main Stream Media and their obsession to promote the centrist Juan MexiCain. Since the beginning of the year, Juan MexiCain has been the recipient of nothing but positive press in the media. The media pundits, who seemingly have nothing but a liberal agenda, have had nothing but positive comments to say about Juan and his deceptive “Straight Talk Express”. He wouldn’t know how to talk straight if he had lessons.

Janice Shaw Crouse is one of those who believes that the Party must move to the left in order to survive. She fears Conservatism as does the Media. There are forces within the Party who are recent additions to the GOP. Mostly defectors from the Democrat Party who came over since the attacks in New York and Washington in 2001. These people are the strong on National Defense types but have maintained their social liberalism. NeoCons. These are the types who have an affection for Juan MexiCain.

Then there are some who have been within the party for years who could be classified as “moderates”. These people believe that the only way to beat the libs is to act like libs. They believe we need to include independents and conservative democrats in order to beat the ultra left. This is where I think Janice Shaw Crouse is.

Before throwing your support blithely behind Juan MexiCain ask yourself a very serious question. Is retaining the White House worth giving it up from 2013 - 2021? The next President is going to be doomed to a 4 year term because there is no Conservative choice. This is something that Ms. Shaw Crouse isn’t thinking of when she says…

Conservative bloggers, radio hosts and opinion leaders have been unabashedly promoting Mitt Romney as their candidate by unprecedented personal attacks on John McCain and Mike Huckabee and their accusations that these candidates are “liberal.”

She obviously is not a Conservative therefore she matters not in politics. Right now she and the other twits like her who have registered to vote in the Party of Reagan and it is these interlopers that will drive a Democrat Revolution in 2012 if MexiCain wins in 2008. This is precisely why I say we should let the Dems have 2008. So that when the economy tanks and we are opened up to attacks by radical Islam, a Democrat will get the blame like Jimmy Carter did in 1980.

The only people who are aware of the dangers that a President Juan MexiCain pose to this nation are Conservative Bloggers and Talk Show Hosts. So I advocate the following…

First, if your state hasn’t had its GOP primary yet, vote for Mitt Romney so that Mitt can continue to gather some delegates to the Convention. In the event that Juan MexiCain is unable to get the 1191 needed to secure the Nomination and a brokered Convention is needed, Mitt can step up and save the Party from itself.

If that does not happen, then in the general…

And let the Dems have it along with the blame of a tanked economy, terrorist attacks, high tax rates, and the influx of more illegal aliens. This will allow a real Conservative to gain the nomination in 2012 and ride the wave to a two term Presidency.

In other words, ignore twits like Janice Shaw Crouse.

As David Limbaugh puts it…

Isn’t it ironic that GOP moderates are harshly criticizing GOP conservatives for being harshly critical of GOP presidential frontrunner John McCain?

What mortal sins have conservative McCain critics committed? Oh, they’ve stuck to their conservative principles, fighting for the values they believe in and refusing, prematurely, to surrender. What good would they be if they so readily threw in the towel of defeat?

“Enlightened” moderates are shocked at conservatives, tagging them as uncompromising extremists who represent the very fringe of the Republican Party.

David accurately describes the Shaw Crouse Republican Libtard to a T. Just like his brother. The best way I can think of to finish this post is with David’s last paragraph…

But would the critics of McCain’s critics please quit trying to marginalize mainstream conservatives and redefine mainstream conservatism? Just admit your guy is not that conservative and let us hold his feet to the fire, especially since his success to this point will give him all the more temptation to pander to liberals. You’re the ones who need to chill out.
