Mitt Wins Michigan
Posted on January 15, 2008
Lots of celebrating! I’m going to cheer a bit too on this one. First of all because it takes the wind out of the sails of McCain’s little surge. Despite his bias, Hewitt has it right tonight.
If McCain can’t win in an open primary with no Democratic contest to draw away independents, how’s he going to win anywhere else?
Thank goodness that will be fading fast. That is good news for Fred Thompson too. Check this out. It also further buries Huckabee. The Huckaboom is fading fast as well.
Furthermore, I’d much rather see Romney win than McCain or Huckabee anyday. With two silvers and two golds, this makes Romney the current frontrunner. However, we are now in a situation where the nomination is not clear. We have three different states, three different winners. A trend has developed. Each candidate has had their state they had to win when their back was against the wall. Fred’s staking it out in South Carolina, and Rudy is adopting the same strategy in Florida. It’s just now getting interesting.
Overall, I celebrate in a sigh of relief tonight. The winner was not McLame or Huckabee.

That’s 4 states bro — Romney won Wyoming as well.
Mitt and Fred would be a good ticket.
It is usually possible and good to have a first choice and a second choice within
one’s party. Only 3 of the contenders will ever, under any circumstances, get my vote in the general election. They are Thompson, far less enthusiastically, Romney, and by holding my nose, Giuliani!
He is just slightly better on immigration than McCain and Huckabee. Duncan Hunter should be taken on as Defense Secretary, VP, or Secretary of Homeland Security, because he is a great
exponant of BORDER CONTROL and the military needs of the nation.
Exactly right Allan! I will NOT vote for Mike Huckabee, that’s for damn sure.
That man is as crazy as they come.
