Right now Huckabee leads in South Carolina, but Fred has gotten an important and influential endorsement, Judge Paul Pressler. He is a hero to Southern Baptist Convention reformers.

I just found on this website, maybe the best Fred Thompson line that I hadn’t heard before:

“Too many leaders encourage you to just send all your money to Washington and tell you they will solve all your problems. They’ll spend your money and at the same time take away your freedom.”

Good man. I’m giving him fifty bucks, at least.
