Presidential Candidates React to Bhutto Assassination

Update: Ron Paul responds and blames America.
Gribbit covers many of the Democrat candidates’ responses. I’m not sure to call the reactions capitalizing. I think it’s to be expected when the news agencies push every candidate for a response and pretty much every candidate responds. We have to look at every response and what they say before defining them as capitalizing, which is what Gribbit has done.
Hot Air has the President’s reaction, and several Republican Presidential candidate reactions.
Huckabee once again reacts with a foot in his mouth. Via CBS:
He made a bad choice of words when saying the U.S. needs to consider “what impact does it have on whether or not there’s going to be martial law continuing in Pakistan.†He should have said whether or not martial law will be reinstated – it was lifted nearly two weeks ago. A minor slip, maybe, but not a subject he wants to mess up on when he is already considered weak in the area of foreign policy.

I noticed CNN’s site didn’t include Fred’s reaction. At least not when I looked. I found that rather odd. Or, maybe not.
Probably not. His response was late.
I noticed that Huckabee checked in with “our sincere concern and apologies for what has happened in Pakistan.†as reported by CBS. Is Huckabee ‘channeling’ Jimmy (444 Days) Carter or what by ‘apologizing’ for the United States? Exactly what is Huckabee saying here?
We would have two of the best running mates in the 2008 elections with Giuliani and Thompson running on the same ticket ….
