When Fascism Comes…

Cross-posted from Right on the Right:

Ron Paul is getting absolutely ridiculous. Just ask for his statement on Mike Huckabee’s Christmas message, and he’ll start spouting leftist rhetoric about the stepping stones to fascism. Ignore the fact that both Hitler and Moussolini were both socialists before their transition to totalitarianism…

Coming to this website at times cracks me up. In one post you will defend someone by saying “the msm didn’t give you the WHOLE quote”, and now you are pulling the quote out of what Dr. Paul said, and not saying what he said after.Great Job gang.

And it wasn’t a HATE quote. Being that James Madison used it as well. I’m guessing he’s full of hate to. I agree with the statement he made. Being that I believe a lot of evangelicals believe we should have some kind of theoracy. And yes, I do know people who believe this. Plus as it has been pointed out on THIS website, Hucka-boo thinks he’s God’s choice to be President. Sorry, but God only picks the Pope my evangelical friends. That is what Dr. Paul was talking about.

    Oh well.

Ron Paul rebuked a questioner about evolution as asking an inappropriate question, pointing out that the President doesn’t have the authority to decide on such a scientific matter. Now he rebukes Huckabee as being too overtly religious. Again the point stands that the President doesn’t have the authority to decide on religious matters.

I’m sick of the culture war. So, apparently, is Ron Paul. He’s criticizing both sides of it. The President is not the arbiter of our culture. Sometimes the job of the President is to shut up and get out of the way. So it is in culture.

Apparently, that’s the position Ron Paul would take.

So far Ron Paul is the only person running for the Republican nomination who understands the constitution or history. In my opinion only scoundrels wrap themselves in God and the flag for political purposes, the modern political pharisees, and its right for Mr. Paul to call them on it.
