Huckabee is getting a lot of praise on tonight’s debate, but one of my favorite parts of the debate was the face to face reactions when Fred’s ad played attacking the conservative credentials on some of his contenders. I thought it pretty funny. They asked for fire in the belly and Fred delivered.

You can thank political correctness and groups like the ACLU for stuff like this.

If you haven’t heard yet, Mike Huckabee is surging in the polls and the evangelicals are flocking to him.
Forty-eight percent (48%) of Evangelical Christians support Hucakbee. That’s more than all the other candidates combined. Romney attracts 16% of the Evangelical vote.
When you add the fact that he is a minister and very pro-life it isn’t [...]
Exploiting Justice O’Connor’s Tragedy for Political Points

I have to say, this little L.A.Times editorial really takes the cake for insensitivity. It should receive some sort of award for being one of the most gauche pieces I’ve seen from the extreme leftists masquerading as “journalists” for a long, long time. Yes, the Times deserves condemnation for exploiting someone’s tragedy to make a [...]

Cosma Shalizi is a rather egotistical-sounding young man of apparently Afghan ancestry. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Statistics at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. On his blog, Three Toed Sloth, he has a long post demonstrating that a popular form of mathematical analysis generically called [...]
