Update: Meanwhile in the real world outside of Hollyweird….A real woman in Iran is about to really be stoned!
The state-run newspaper Qods reported that a mother of three is sentenced to stoning. Reportedly, the evidence is video tapes of her having sex with another person [Persian].

Hollywood likes to claim their programming simply reflects reality, but the latest episode of Cold Case was an exercise in bigoted, Christophobic fantasy.
In the September 30 episode of the CBS forensics show, the devoutly religious teens in an abstinence club turn out to be sexually active hypocrites who murder one of their own members – by stoning her, as the Bible teaches – to keep their sins secret. Their youth pastor encourages one girl to describe her impure dreams to him, and masturbates while listening.

The latest episode of the CBS crime show "Cold Case" depicted presumably devout Christian teens in an abstinence club as sexually active hypocrites who literally stone a member to keep their sins secret.
The Culture and Media Institute, a defender of traditional values, calls the episode broadcast Sunday "a ham-handed attempt to influence this fall’s congressional debate on abstinence education programs. The show also depicts abstinence-only education as useless, if not actively harmful."
"Hollywood likes to claim their programming simply reflects reality, but the latest episode of ‘Cold Case’ was an exercise in bigoted, Christophobic fantasy," wrote the institute’s Colleen Raezler.

The joke goes, “How do you get the ACLU to stop defending enemy terrorists who vow to kill Americans? But like NATO after the Cold War, it appears to have lost its focus and direction. There is an important need for the organization to seriously re-examine and change the activities that do more harm than good, such as defending extreme people and values that undermine society. The media recently reported attempts to stop members from publicly airing their disagreements about the direction and targets of the organization. Aren’t attempts to control internal and external criticism the hallmark of a totalitarian regime? But then the ACLU is big business.
They have certainly lost the forest for the trees when they fight against American institutions like the Boy Scouts and memorials to our veterans. Like the Civil Rights gang, the ACLU could become a serious impediment to American values and justice.
Do they go after our values because they make big money pursuing the Civil Rights con? Like the “people of color†extortionists discussed in Chapter 1, the ACLU profits from the disgusting abuses of the Civil Rights business. Indeed, they make millions of dollars in taxpayer “attorney fee awards†by turning authorization under the Civil Rights Act into a piñata of lawyer goodies. I discussed in Chapter 1 how Civil Rights con men and women have exploited a well-intentioned law. These diversity groups welcome the ACLU to join them in feeding at the money trough, while the taxpayers keep picking up the tab.
Elected and appointed officials at the local, state, and Federal levels have been literally terrorized about standing up to the ACLU, for fear of enormous attorney fees being imposed by un-elected judges not answerable to the tax payers. I don’t know of a single American judge who has had the guts to exercise discretion by denying attorney fees to the ACLU.
And attorney fees do seem to motivate the ACLU. The American Legion called on Congress to end judges’ authority to award attorney fees in cases brought to remove or destroy religious symbols. In 1934, a private citizen strapped two pipes together to form a cross and mounted it to a rock outcrop on private land in the Mojave Desert. The purpose of the cross was to honor WWI veterans. In the year 2000, President Clinton incorporated the area into a Mojave National Preserve. The ACLU vultures swarmed in and filed a lawsuit to remove the cross, picking up some $40,000 in attorney fees. Legislation was passed to exchange the one-acre site for five acres from a private owner, placing the monument on private land. But the ACLU appealed against this legislation and picked up an additional $63,000. They ruled that the plaintiff, who later moved to Oregon, suffered a Civil Rights injury because he saw the cross when driving back on visits.

Let’s see Muslims annoyed at 24, Christians at CBS, Iran at whoever did The 300, Phillipines at Desperate Housewive,
Tom Cruise, Gays, Blacks, Catholics,Scientologists..well about everbody pissed at Southpark, gays at Heroes and these
are just the ones that come to mind without any thought. TV and Movies are there to make money, you know get ratings
and if your worried about their “influence”, just a thought..those of us in our 5o’s and up grew up watching (in our formative
years) shows that were wholesome and All American - Leave it to Beaver, My Three Sons, Gomer Pyle, Bonanza..I Love Lucy, Micky Mouse Club
and on and on. Let’s see and that influence led to in short, sex drugs and rock and roll, hippies, riots, divorces, living together
protests, etc., etc.. So I don’t think you need to worry too much about the alleged influence of these shows, and maybe you need to worry about things of significance.
I can not condemn either action as the Law God gave to the Hebrew people makes stoning an appropriate punishment for some crimes and does not always support equal punishment. I have heard that some Muslims believe that equal punishment for the same crime is appropriate according to the Koran but others disagree. The later seem to be in the ascendancy in Iran.
We have legalized abortion which kills 1 in 5 innocent human beings conceived in the U.S. while neither of these individuals were found guilty by Iran’s due process of law. We are certainly the greatest evil.

The episode on the Christian abstinence club was a complete hack job attack on Christian people. There is no basis for this story line other than attacking Christians and trying to make them look like dumb, foul hypocrites. Christ said let him that is without sin cast the first stone. There is no way any % of Christians, or even one, would do this. FYI this type of stoning is done every year in Muslim countries. Trying reading their public paper sometime. Why not base the story on a believable story line like Muslims doing it. Does that break your PC code? But a hack attack based on no fact is OK if it is against Christians? This Country was founded on Christian principals, through the UK & US ending of slavery was based on Christian principals, founding of schools and hospitals was largely a Christian effort prior to being taken over by profit driven corporations. So what part about Christians don’t you like and why do you falsely attack them?

with and “Amish” theme…. Amish girl getting pregnant and an Amish boy committing murder…
said the detective: “wouldn’t be the first time a Christian murdered someone.”
