Kerry Un-Apologizes For Insult To Military

Posted on November 4, 2006

Kerry says so himself…he was right either way. Well, so a moonbat defending him said it…but it is on the Kerry website so it has his blessing and seal of approval.

Although there are plenty of well-educated people in our armed forces — Kerry was one of them — military service has long been an opportunity employer for those with less education and fewer skills than they need to work in the private sector. Indeed, the military sells itself as a place to garner skills and to help pay for higher education.

And wars, including this one, are often fought by those less privileged — albeit no less smart — than the sons and daughters of those who lead us into them.

Apologies? Sure, from the cut-and-run Democratic candidates who’ve cancelled appearances with Kerry.

Whats up mr. Flip Flop?

Bryan Preston:

If you’re depending on the argument that Kerry wouldn’t be dumb enough to smear the troops a week out from an election, you’re depending on John Kerry having smart political instincts. You might as well depend on the Tooth Fairy, because John Kerry’s smart political instincts don’t exist.

Wow! Everyone is on this one. Shame on John Kerry for such blatant insults to our military.

OK, a sharp distinction needs to be made here: while the quote from the Seattle Post Intelligencer (above) surely reflects the views of many Kerry apologists and quite likely is a gloss of some of Kerry’s own views, the statement was not made by Jean Fraud Kerry himself. That is not HIS retraction of his non-apology.

The man is scum, and as I’ve said the only meaningful apology he could make for having slandered American military servicemen in 1971 and his continued dissing of them would be for him to —of his own free will, following a real admission of his guilt— pull a “Richard Corey” I don’t believe that putting words into his mouth is necessary.

The words quoted above are those of a rabid moonbat—surely of the same species as Jean Fraud—but not the particular rabid moonbat that goes by the name of “John F. Kerry.”

Yeh, I expect the Kerry camp to latch onto this as a way of skirting a real apology, a real admission of guilt, and so make it the Kerry party line, so to speak. But I did not see it on the Kerry website when last I looked–have you?

Why can anyone honestly be surprised that John “D-student” Kerry, the oh-so-self-righteous one, demeans the United States military? He’s been doing it consistently for over 35 years. He’s only verbalizing what liberals truly think of the military. He continues to talk down to everyone as if he were the most intelligent being in the room even though his grades were mediocre at best (look them up, folks) and his strategy for wealth and power culminated in marrying rich women and making their wealth his. If he truly respected the military, why did he throw his medals over the White House fence all those years ago? Oh, that’s right…those weren’t actually HIS medals, but some he either borrowed or bought. And dontcha just love the Dems double standards as exhibited here? Trent Lott makes a “botched joke” and he’s forced to resign his position within the Senate. A Republican (I can’t remember the man’s name right now) makes a slip of the tongue which he apologizes for yet the liberal Dems reject the apology and keep claiming “the lips speak from the heart.” Why are those same liberal Dems saying the same about Kerry? Their double-standard, of course.

John “D-student” Kerry is a disgrace and deserves no respect at all.

Well yes it is on Kerry’s website and therefore endorsed by Kerry…so its as good as him saying it. It has his blessing and stamp of approval.

*sigh* On his website. I missed that last time I was there (which was after I’d already seen the quote)–though it may have been put up there later. Thanks for pointing that out, Jay.

Gee, it’s hard to imagine a guy shooting himself in the a$$ foot as often as Jean Fraud still being able to walk onstage and do it again…
