7-11 Drops Citgo
Posted on September 27, 2006
This is just to accompany earlier posts about Venezuela and boycotting Citgo Gas.
Citgo Petroleum Corp. is a Houston-based subsidiary of Venezuela’s state-run oil company and 7-Eleven is worried that anti-American comments made by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez might prompt motorists to fill-up elsewhere.

“Regardless of politics, we sympathize with many Americans’ concern over derogatory comments about our country and its leadership recently made by Venezuela’s president,” said 7-Eleven spokeswoman Margaret Chabris.

Agreed. I’d have a problem with a foreigner coming here and bad-mouthing any of our government officials regardless of their political affiliation. And that goes for the U.N. as well.
By that I meant U.N. members. But I think we’re on the same page.
Okay so perhaps somebody could tell me what happened to the other posts here? Mine seem like I’m talking to an imaginary friend now.
I don’t know. Who were you talking to? I will check into it.
Maybe I’m finally losing it.
Testing again…..
I’m not giving Hugo nutbag a dime of my money. But then, I don’t have a car…
