Flashback: It’s Pakistan, Stupid!

I recently read Paul Sperry’s book, Crude Politics. While highly cricital of some of the Bush administration’s partnerships in the War on Terror, Sperry’s real goal is to wake Americans up to our greatest terrorist threat: Pakistan.

The world may be focused on Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and even Saudi Arabia, but the true cradle of terrorism has always been Pakistan. So, when I read yesterday that the would-be mass murders behind the foiled U.K. terrorism plot were Pakistani, I got chills.

In light of Pakistanis rearing their ugly head again, Sperry’s May 2005 article, It’s Pakistan, Stupid! deserves a re-read by all conservatives.

   I heard they were English of Pakistan decent. I do know they were all Muslims.
