Westboro Hate Cult Will Protest at Tucker & Menchaca’s Funerals!
Posted on June 25, 2006
Of course this isn’t suprising in the least. It is sickening and outrageous however that this cult of hate are planning on protesting at the funerals of these two soldiers that were tortured and savagely murdered in Iraq.
The memorial service for PVT Tucker, is scheduled to be held Saturday, July 1 at the following location:
Deschutes County Fairgrounds Expo Center
3800 S.W. Airport Way
Redmond, OregonFlags At Half-Staff
Monday, June 26The memorial service at the Expo Center will be open to the public. A private internment, which is not open to the public, will follow at the Mt. Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Madras.
A small group of people from the Westboro Baptist Church out of Topeka, Kansas have announced their plans to picket the funerals of both Tucker and Menchaca. Members of the church have picketed several soldier funerals in the past.

Nothing is sacred to these freaks! I suggest if you are in the area to go show your support for our fallen. Perhaps consider joining the Patriot Guard Riders and counter protest these sickos!
The Patriot Guard Riders is a diverse amalgamation of riders from across the nation. We have one thing in common besides motorcycles. We have an unwavering respect for those who risk their very lives for America’s freedom and security. If you share this respect, please join us.
We don’t care what you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a “hawk” or a “dove”. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is. You don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
Our main mission is to attend the funeral services of fallen American heroes as invited guests of the family. Each mission we undertake has two basic objectives.
1. Show our sincere respect for our fallen heroes, their families, and their communities.
2. Shield the mourning family and friends from interruptions created by any protestor or group of protestors.
We accomplish the latter through strictly legal and non-violent means.

Who ever leads these protests is a tactical fool. He or she should use his/her resources to protest at military recruitment posts. They should also change the God hates Fags sign for God hates homosexuality.
They would have to show some sort of public repentance for the foolish way they are acting now before changing tactics.
They way they are acting now I get the idea they are liberal atheist plants trying to give Christians a bad name.
I can’t send a trackback with Blogger, but I wanted you to know I also posted about this. Thanks for the head up!
I attended a funeral recently for a soldier from a nearby town. Patriot Guard members encircled the casket, and when at the grave site, they got off their pikes and formed a semicircle around the family, with over two dozen American flags held aloft.
The Phelps crew seem to prefer soldiers’ funerals as their location of choice. With their “God Hates Fags” signs, that’s always confused me a bit. They seem to be guided by the need to offend as many people as possible, so why not park the hate bus in the middle of a gay pride parade?
I am waiting for the day that someone gets so irritated that they get extremely violate with these idiots and one of them gets buried.
I have to admit that the Phelps crew gives Americans a chance to show their patriotism.
