Was Zarqawi Beaten After Bombing?

The man, who lived near the scene of the bombing, told AP Television News on Friday that he saw U.S. soldiers beating an injured man resembling al-Zarqawi until blood flowed from the victim’s nose.

When asked about the man’s allegations, military spokesman Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said he would check. In Washington, Pentagon spokesman Jeffrey Gordon said Saturday he was unaware of the claim.

“We frequently receive allegations which prove to be unsubstantiated,” Gordon said.

The Iraqi, identified only as Mohammed, said residents put a bearded man in an ambulance before U.S. forces arrived. He said the man was found lying next to an irrigation canal.

“He was still alive. We put him in the ambulance, but when the Americans arrived they took him out of the ambulance, they beat him on his stomach and wrapped his head with his dishdasha, then they stomped on his stomach and his chest until he died and blood came out of his nose,” Mohammed said, without saying how he knew the man was dead.

CBS is also reporting on this unsubstantiated claim by an anonymous Arab bearded man.

Not that this in any way leads See-B.S. or AP to question his, to put it very mildly, questionable testimony. That’s how the MSM “support the troops”, after all; they’ll print any allegation against our men and women in uniform, no matter how dubious and unverifiable, and call it “journalism.” For more evidence, look up “flushing the Koran”, “Ishaqi” and, if current developments are anything to go by, “Haditha.” There are many more examples, too many to count, but these ought to get you started.

Like we said, they call this “journalism.” That’s probably how Lord Haw-Haw and Tokyo Rose saw themselves as well, but they at least had the decency to be physically as well as mentally on the other side, which puts them several leagues above the fifth column “Fourth Estate” of today.

Not that it really matters, because…even if the story were true…who really cares? If it were true, I’d like to meet the men who did the well deserved beating of the child murdering scumbucket, and shake their hands.

Too bad someone did not use a survival knife and cut the B_ _ _ _ _ _ _ head off. He was not a uniformed soldier and did not fit into the catagory that had protection under the Geneva Convention. So what if they did kick the S_ _ _ out of him.

Our soldiers gave him first aid is it possible that someone might have confused that for abuse?
