California Democrat Urges “Undocumented Citizens” To Vote For Her

Democratic congressional candidate Francine Busby said “you don’t need papers for voting.” Busby is running to represent California’s 50th district in a June 6th special election.
In the background you could hear someone telling Busby “they said they want to help us.” The next few seconds are muffled, however you can hear Busby responding:
BUSBY: Well sure, everybody can help. Yeah, absolutely. You can all help. Yeah, you don’t need papers for voting, you don’t need to be a registered voter to help.

I know that in past the Democratic party especial in Chicago was know for having dead people vote. But in the many years that I have been associated with the Democratic party I have never heard of nor experience any such voting frauds.
You don’t need voting papers to volunteer. Sounds right to me.
That isn’t what she said gfactor. She said you don’t need papers to vote.

Around here you dont, you don’t need to show any papers when you go vote. But you do need ‘papers’ in order to vote, in the sense that you need to be a citizen.
But I heard you don’t need the papers to vote in order to help. At least that’s what she’s talking about, she’s talking about volunteering.
If so, lets hope she learned a valueable lesson about being careful how you word things.

Well, she did put it into context. Without the second sentence its ambiguous. And of course some people will be quick to interpret it in one way.
