American Legion Press Conference At Mt. Soledad Cross Memorial

The American Legion held a press conference at the Mt. Soledad Cross War Memorial today to announce a cooperative relationship with the Alliance Defense Fund as the ACLU steps up it’s fight to take down the cross. Some of the speakers included Brian Bilbray, currently running for Congress; Phil Thalheimer; Joe Infranco, senior counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund; Charles S. LiMandri, regional attorney for the Thomas More Law Center; and some of our nation’s finest veterans. There were between 50 and 70 people present, many of them veterans. No one from the ACLU or any other anti-Soledad Memorial group showed up.
