Ruling on a 15-year-old ACLU case, a federal judge today ordered the city of San Diego to remove a mountain-top cross within 90 days or face a fine of $5,000 a day.
U.S. District Judge Gordon Thompson said, “It is now time, and perhaps long overdue, for this court to enforce its initial permanent injunction [...]

The Toledo Blade slices up the ACLU.
A 14-year-old girl was expected back in class this week, little more than a month after she rattled suburban Springfield Middle School by using a popular Internet site to post personal profiles of a teacher and assistant principal that not only were false but can only be described as [...]

As he left the court he yelled, “America, you lost!” I have a feeling he would have said the same thing, or something similar even if the ruling would have went the other way.

From the Washington Post:
Herndon voters yesterday unseated the mayor and two Town Council members who supported a bitterly debated day-labor center for immigrant workers in a contest that emerged as a mini-referendum on the turbulent national issue of illegal immigration.
Residents replaced the incumbents with challengers who immediately called for significant changes at the center. Some [...]

You know that moonbat teacher that lead her students in destroying pro-life displays? Looks like she started a trend.
Pro-abortion vandals have destroyed yet another campus pro-life display, this time at an Ivy League university.

Christopher Hitchens On Ahmadinejad

What bothers me about Ahmadinejad is the same thing that bothers Christopher Hitchens.
No, what worries me more about Ahmadinejad is his devout belief in the return of the “occulted” or 12th imam and his related belief that, when he himself spoke recently at the United Nations, the whole scene was suffused with a sublime green [...]
