Iraqi Liberation Day

The blogosphere is marking the third anniversary of Iraq Liberation Day with guest posts from Gold Star Mothers and other military family members fed up with MSM-bashing of the war.

Here are a few blogs that had the privilege of participating. God bless our troops! This is the picture I vividly remember cheering when I was over there. Another excellent post at Argghhh!

Too bad the Iraqis themselves are too busy getting shot and blown up to celebrate. Maybe we should wait for the [edited] storm to settle down a little bit before we celebrate.

We don’t use profanity here CR.

Lobo, from what the troops who have returned home to Louisiana say, the Iraqis themselves celebrate their freedom on a daily basis. Sgt Greg Boyd, a dear friend of mine who returned in October 05, has told me time and time again how thankful the citizens of Iraq are for the right to vote, the opportunity to be trained and serve in the Iraqi military, and the services that our soldiers provide them.
