In response to a November ruling by a U.S. District Judge, Representative Mike Sodrel, a Republican, has introduced legislation to prevent federal courts from ruling on the content of speech in legislatures.

State library in Helena bows to critics and cancels film

From HelenaIR.com comes the news that the Montana State Library has cancelled a showing of the film “The ACLU Freedom Files” due to complaints from residents and state employees about the ACLU having a forum and because “the presentation might be one-sided in its criticism of the Patriot Act”.
