Operation Nativity

If you take a look to the left and right on my blog, you will see that I have already started decorating for the Christmas season. We all know how the ACLU hates nativity scenes, so we thought we’d put one up. We also put up the Homeland Holiday Advisory System, so we can inform you with colorful alerts throughout the holidays. What got me in this festive mood? This article.
Dr. Charles Nestor, director of The Truth Matters, is announcing a project called “Operation Nativity” with the goal of having Christians across the country set up nativity scenes on their own property.
Nestor states, “It’s that time of year again. We’re not even out of October and already the forces are aligning to prohibit the public celebration of the birth of Jesus.
“December 25 is the day in our culture that is set aside to acknowledge and to celebrate that Jesus of Nazareth was born. For Christians it is more than a day of feasting and the exchange of gifts, it is a holy and solemn time to join our voices in unison as the angels proclaimed on the hillside to the shepherds, ‘Glory to God in the highest.’
“I am calling for Christians everywhere to join me in Operation Nativity. While we continue to support the public displays, let’s flood the country with nativity scenes on our own properties!
“Think with me what could happen if on lawns in every community, on business property, on church lawns, at Christian schools, on empty land, and literally everywhere you looked, there was the depiction of the scene that recognizes the birth of Jesus.
“Simple cutouts are available. Many already own lighted sets. It could be a family project, filled with opportunities to teach children about the events surrounding the birth of the Savior.Source
We are all for this, and encourage everyone to join in this expression of Christmas. And we want to take this idea and run with it! Decorate your blog for Christmas with a nativity scene, in support of religious expression, and as a sign of your support for stopping the ACLU. The ACLU will be busy this Christmas season, lets be prepared.

All you so-called “conservatives” surely know that they don’t come much more conservative than the Cato Institute, at least on fiscal policy. Well the Cato Institute has concluded that George W. Bush and the Republican Congressional Majority has been viciously screwing you, me and every other ordinary American. Why can’t people just celebrate for themselves. I don’t think the government should set up nativity scenes…
The ACLU has actually supported individuals who are discriminated against for PERSONAL expression (yes, even christians). A Christian teacher from Tennessee was told to take the cross she wore around her neck off–The ACLU defended her pro bona.
The ACLU and their commie cohorts across the country will freak out when millions of Americans display nativity scenes,boldly proclaiming Merry CHRISTmas! They fear this most of all,the truth of CHRISTmas,and why do they fear it so much? It is because they know what it represents, the power and majesty of the one true God, the God they willingly deny,the faith they show pure contempt for. So let those displays shine forth the truth,that Jesus is the reason for the season!!

Hi I wanted to send the ACLU a Merry Christams to help warm up there heart they sure need it but they do not have one. I love my Jesus wil all my heart he died on the cross I will never under any reason on this eart denie him. God bless these who are trying to keep Amercia a free country. Glenn
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I have only seen one Nativity scene in my area. I would have one if I could afford it but I have only been able to find them on the internet and though I have wanted one for years, they are just too expensive. I’ll just have to make my own. But I hope to see them every where by Christmas. He is the reason for the season after all.

what is it with these leftist commies? up here in Washington state in Federal Way the schools saw the words merry christmas on the lunch menus, chucked them and got new ones that said “happy holidays” and in seattle a moron parent said that their school’s christmas trees were offensive so out with that.
I asked a principal why they dont say merry christmas and they said “because some ones gonna gfet offended” i said well im offended that this school does not say merry christmas. the principals resopnse: oh well we are more tolerant than you. and gave me a look of anger and stomped off.

Thank you for what you do in the name of something GOOD. I can not figure the A.C.L.U.out. Years ago our son and his friend (they were 15 years old at the time,about 1976)were handing out tracts about Jesus and how to be saved,the principal of another “religion” told them they could not do that,and the A.C.L.U. was called in…..they actually helped the boys with there right to hand these tracts out. What has happened to them? I would like to contact them but I can’t find any way to do that without joining their org. and I do not want to do that.How should I go aboout getting in touch with them? Once you write a letter to them , are you on any kind of LIST? One that could not be real good for the sender? I don’t know about them and I know they are powerful but I know we can be powerful against them too,so what can I do that would make a difference with all this stuff they are doing against “The True American Way”? I don’t know if you can answer my e-mail or not and that’s ok. but I would like to tell them that know matter what they do to squash the Way,they only make things grow for the good, eventually.I don’t know if this is a Christian Site or not and that doesn’t matter to me even tho I am a Christian,so if I say something inappropriate I’m sorry,I’m only trying to be honest. I would like to say to the A.C.L.U. that no matter what they do in the name of whatever they stand for I would like to say,”it doesn’t matter, what you believe, the FACT of the matter is, “Every Knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” So we really do win in the end and that is the thing that makes life worth while. Would you Invite Jesus Christ into your hearts, The things you people are doing is not right
This Country was founded on the people that came here to worship God Freely. When this country became a free nation all but 2, that’s two people were Christians And THE BIBLE WAS A MAJOR PART OF School curriculum, As well as Prayer, It IS a CRYING Shame that you people will drag any one into court because of there faith in Christ. All the law sots you push up on us. Do you not know that you will have to stand before God and tell Him why you have been doing this? This country was a Christian nation and now people are running scared of you people, what dose ACLU stand for really? ANTICHRIST LOOTING the UNITED STATES? that’s what you are doing, so I am asking you to repent and stop this madness, do you not realize that we are being judged by God because of this . I ask you, what’s next? Are you going to inprison and put to death all Christians? Are you going to drag all of us to a court and condemn us as well? You talk about standing up for the amendments but from what I have seen you are destroying it.
You know if you do not like the Christian values of this country and the people in it, I am sure you can move to a place that feels the same as you, like IRAQ, or IRAN, Why Not RED China, they dont like Christians there. Do not let the Devil deserve you any more,

There was less violence with kids when Christ was in schools, Is that what people want? Oh, for Christ’s sake, stop being such crybabies. The ACLU and those of us who support them don’t give a rat’s ass how many Christmas images you display, Christmas greetings you extend, or Christmas songs you sing on your blog, at your home, at your church, or at your business. But if you can’t feel secure in your own religious beliefs unless everyone, everywhere, every hour of everyday, celebrates your lord, then you’ve got more serious problems than the ACLU.

Thankfully the holiday season is past and the silly rants here will be put to rest for another year.
Yup, I see more people bashing someone they know little about.
Sure, the ACLU isn’t perfect. Thus far, there has been only one perfect person and I guarantee he’s never posted here.
I’m an ordained minister, and have been for over thirty years.
There are things the ACLU has done I don’t agree with, but then again they have done a lot of good, too.
I used to call myself a conservative, but no more. I’m not a liberal, either. I just tired of the constant attacks on anyone who didn’t blindly follow the current conservative dogma. It’s too much like Bush’s thing that if you disagree with him, or say anything bad about his administration, you are either a traitor or a terrorist. We all know that’s just not true. This is America, land of the FREE. FREE to disagree. FREE to follow our own beliefs. FREE to do what we want as long as it does not harm anyone else.
Labeling a whole group of people as idiots just because they carry an ACLU card is just plain wrong.
You would be surprised to know how many Republicans carry ACLU cards.
Perhaps your energy would be better served if you direct it towards actually solving some of the country’s problems, instead of blindly atacking anyone who dares to challange the status quo. What if Jesus hadn’t challanged the ruling mindset of his day. Where would we be today? Think about it.
Then go and try to change something for the good, and do it in a good way.
