Carnival of True Liberties II
Posted on October 10, 2005
This is our second edition of the Carnival of True Liberties. Not as many submissions as last time, lets get this thing rolling so I can pass it on to others.
Daniel Levesque at Raving Conservative presents The No God Religion We completely agree with this post. Athiesm has no more right to be imposed on America as any other religion does.
Angry Republican Mom at Angry Republican Mom presents ACLU in Lee County? Just because the ACLU is not directly involved in this case does not mean they are not responsibile for some of the blame. It is directly because of their threatening methods to small schools that our children can no longer enjoy the true meaning of the holidays.
Neal Phenes at Et Tu Bloge presents New Orleans Can Show Us The Way The answer is there is fear that those “free to choose” answers will succeed. With success will be the real life debunking of the socialist dream, still alive in academia, the media and leftist Think Tanks.
MsUnderestimated at MsUnderestimated presents ACLU Sues Over Post-Katrina Conditions at New Orleans Jail Of course out of all the groups that suffered because of this natural disaster, the ACLU picked the criminals to help out.
Ogre at Ogre’s Politics and Views presents ACLU and Suicide Very interesting viewpoint on a very divisive topic.
The MaryHunter at TMH’s Bacon Bits presents ACLU Resists Megan’s Law Reform in California More of the ACLU’s support for sex offenders, criminals, and child molesters. A note was attached to this submission: Man, this still pisses me off no end! Thanks for the carnival opportunity. TMH
Wayne Boettcher at AmericanProtest.net presents OK, Let’s Curb ACLU Fees Wayne has been a long time supporter of Stop The ACLU, and he is advocating our petition to stop taxpayer funding of the ACLU.
Frank at Swap Blog presents Christian LibertariansThough I am a Christian, I do NOT consider myself a libertarian, and I consider myself a classic liberal. I know some would say there is not a difference, but I believe there is. When it comes to modern libertarians I do not sync fully as I believe that Christ does call us to impact society via our faith, thus meaning I think Christians should stand against public policies that impact morals and values within society. A very interesting post. I am onboard with this post. I share many views with libertarians, however their view on prostitution and legalized drugs are what keeps me from calling myself a libertarian.
Gribbit at Gribbit’s Word presents Liberal Judge Hands The ACLU Another Victory - For Now At some point our nation started being ruled by judges instead of the people or even the people’s representatives. Its past time for America to wake up and take their nation back.
Big Dog at Big Dog’s Weblog presents Build Them New Homes DC is using eminent domain to move people out of their homes so they can build a new ball park. This whole eminent domain thing has me highly pissed off, just so you all know.
Merri at Merri Musings presents ACLU: Forced Tolerance Training for Kids? Yeah, how are we truly free when people are forced to learn views outside of the beliefs of their own religion in our schools? It happens at the primary grades. It shouldn’t even be called teaching. Lets call it what it is, liberal indoctrination.
Richard Evans at Cannuckistan Chronicles presents Anti-ACLU / Anti-Lib Audio If you are a SouthPark fan, you’ll like this one.
MsUnderestimated at MsUnderestimated presents ACLU Suing NYC (again) for Random Subway Searches Another example of the ACLU’s priorities.
gina at ginasrantings presents Take Back America Amen sister, its time for America to wake up now! Otherwise when we wake up from the political correct nightmare, we will awaken in a socialist reality!
