A group battling the American Civil Liberties Union nationwide on First Amendment issues is taking its fight to academia – representing students forced to take oaths against their will, to undergo mandatory “diversity” training and victims of religious discrimination.
The Alliance Defense Fund is branching out to challenge violations of college students’ First Amendment rights of religious freedom, freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
The ADF has launched a new website devoted to educating people of injustices occurring on college campuses regarding the violation of First Amendment rights.
The ADF is working with other national student organizations such as Campus Crusade for Christ and the Christian Legal Society in “combating this trend to silence the freedom of speech,” according to the group.
The ADF is an advocate for the Christians much like the ACLU is for secularists. Many students have been penalized for expressing their religious beliefs and for not accepting the politically correct code that most colleges abide by, the group says.Read More
ADF is an awesome organization, and are at the forefront of the fight against the ACLU. This is an excellent move on their part. Political Correctness is one of the most dangerous things supressing freedom in America. We donate to the ADF, and highly suggest you do so also. Religious expression on the campuses of many American colleges is supressed. Freedom of expression is quickly being replaced and censored through the tool of political correctness.

One Response to “Fighting The ACLU In The Campuses”

Good call Jay! The ACLU should be fought from the lowest to the highest levels until they desist or reform. Did you know they have struck in Oklahoma this week?
In Stigler, Oklahoma, a monument displaying the Ten Commandments is being challenged by the local ACLU chapter. Local chapter leader Michael Camfield said he is holding off filing a lawsuit on the monument because the SCOTUS is scheduled to rule on similar cases in a few months. Still, he has left the field open and clearly intends to challenge the monument legally if he feels it “necessary” or finds a way to do so.
The funny thing is that he is challenging the monument because of ONE man who is upset. Local officials say nobody has complained since it was built until this one guy did. If the community as a whole is content, what’s the problem?
As always, I share your anger at the ACLU on most things. Keep up the good work Jay and everyone else as well!
