Gribbit was awarding moronic comment of the day yesterday, and I just couldn’t let this one pass up without pointing it out. So, whenever there are really, really good moronic comments, I will award them with the moronic comment of the day. You can find the original here.

What a total idiot. But the way that reads, Jay, is “Jesus said, ”
    Shared at Cao’s Open Trackbacks.

Jesus didn’t say that, lol. Could you possibly separate that a little bit?

Someone who doesn’t understand that Bible wouldn’t understand what the bible says about self-defense, but Jesus certainly didn’t say lay down and roll over for Godless socialist Hitler lovers like Saddam Hussein…he also didn’t say he doesn’t care about certain ethnic groups like the kurds who were murdered by the guy and buried in mass graves all across Iraq.

Perhaps he ought to take a little of that compassion that liberals talk so much about but don’t demonstrate and think about all of the people Saddam tortured, murdered and beheaded–like the 2-year beheading of women campaign where they stuck the heads of people he called “prostitutes”–who weren’t selling their bodies but who he felt were a threat to his regime.

Liberalism is a mental disorder, that idiot just proved it.

  2. GM Roper on September 25th, 2005 12:32 pm

Ad hominem is alive and well in the liberal pantheon! He started off very well with “Wow, you…” and it went downhill from those first two words. What’s more, it didn’t get any better. ;-)

  3. kender on September 25th, 2005 1:07 pm

    Jesus killed people?

    News to me.

  4. Gribbit on September 25th, 2005 1:18 pm

He uses words like more dummmmer? What kind of idiot uses language like that and presumes to call us morons?

Without a doubt, Moronic Comment of the Century.

Where do you start with nonsense like that? The grammar and punctuation are indicative of a person lacking in education. This is a person that really doesn’t understand the issues. He or she, therefore, has to resort to insults to mitigate his or her fustration. I love the use of CAPITAL LETTERS and exclamation points, though!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Duncan Avatar on September 25th, 2005 4:52 pm

What a sad little person! I honestly feel sorry for him. He is the posterboy for the pseudo-intellectual left. He obviously is not a student of history, especially that of WWII. We did drop an atomic bomb or two. We also carpetbombed entire cities, with our “high altitude precision bombing”, which was anything but precise. Our brilliant friend probably also thinks we target civilians today even though now we truly have precision weapons that minimize civilian casualties. It is also probably lost on him that had we not dropped those bombs to force the Japanese to surrender, that many, many American boys would be dead, along with an exponential number of the Japanese population that would have taken an active participation in the defense of the Japanese homeland. I’d like to ask him, “100,000 dead Japanese, or 1,000,000+ dead japanese and 100,000+ dead allies”. Oh, I know. He would just ask the United Nations to come in and broker a “peace” deal which would allow Japan to rearm and come attack us again…. nevermind… this guy is should definitely be riding the short bus…

  7. Zaphriel on September 25th, 2005 6:38 pm

Wow, That was truly painful to read, I can’t even make my brain think that slow in order to follow what this guy was saying. Now I have a headache.

Where did the idiot go to school at. Probably deep in the amazon somewhere.

1.) How did us evil RepubliKlans miss this idiot in the last civilian bombing?

2.) Why the hell isn’t HE in IRAQ???

    The Guardian

About 100,000 Iraqi civilians - half of them women and children - have died in Iraq since the invasion, MOSTLY AS A RESULT OF AIRSTRIKES BY COALITION FORCES, according to the first reliable study of the death toll from Iraqi and US public health experts.

I love how quick you folks are to criticize this person’s English (which still sounds better than the President), but fail to have anything intelligent to say about the content.

Have any of you noticed that we are killing civilians in Iraq?

Does anyone understand that we have killed *ten* completely innocent Iraqi civilians for every American killed in 9/11. And furthermore, do you understand that Iraq had nothing at all to do with 9/11?

Why are we killing these innocent people by the thousands?

Do you understand that there were *zero* terrorists operating in Iraq before we invaded and destabilized the country, inviting terrorists in by the thousands?

Do you understand that this administration is made up of criminals who falsified evidence to get support for their war of aggression? These people then actively did whatever it takes (even committing treason and perjury) to squash any opposition to their falsified evidence.

So many comments about the President’s–I mean the poster’s bad English. So little justification for why America is now an imperialist killing machine hated around the world. (That means we’re a bigger target for terrorists than every before, by the way.) You folks… you just don’t get it. I guess that’s why you’re conservative. Actually thinking must hurt your brains too much.

    Who would Jesus bomb?

Only a racist would think “black soul” is a racist comment.

Did you ever stop to think that that a tarnished soul might be referred to as black?

Stupid racist. Do you always assume that anything “black” and derogatory must be about black people?

    Racist.

In reality, while inviting people to love and mercy, Jesus never said that individuals have no right to defend themselves. Even less did he say they should not defend their feebler brothers when such are in danger. A person might decide to offer no resistance to aggression if he risks only his own life, but he can’t shirk the moral duty to help others. As Jeff Snyder has written, “Although difficult for modern men to fathom, it was once widely believed that life was a gift from God, that to not defend that life when offered violence was to hold God’s gift in contempt, to be a coward and to breach one’s duty to one’s community.” (Nation of Cowards, Accurate Press, 2001, page 16.)

In any case, many Christians like to cite Jesus’ words: “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also” (Matthew 5: 38-39.) According to many researchers and theologians, Jesus intends to condemn useless or exaggerated violence, not the use of lethal force against aggression. Thus, rather than contradicting the words of the Holy Scriptures, Jesus is cautioning his disciples not to misunderstand the Bible. In fact, a few lines before this statement, Christ says, “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5: 19.)

Jesus says love is better than hatred, and that vengeance can never be the solution. On the other hand, He doesn’t say self-defence is bad. This would lead to the rule of the stronger over the weaker, of the bully over the gentle person. And, while inviting us to turn the other cheek, He doesn’t invite us to turn the other’s cheek.

Christ suggests to his followers that they arm themselves: “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a sack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one” (Luke 22: 36.) Later, as he is taken away, Jesus rebukes Peter, who has just cut the ear of an aggressor: “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?” (Matthew 26: 52-54) – from which we can see that some of the Apostles (two of them) were armed.

As Larry Pratt notes, “While Christ told Peter to ‘put your sword in its place,’ He clearly did not say get rid of it forever. That would have contradicted what He had told the disciples only hours before. Peter’s sword was to protect his own mortal life from danger. His sword was not needed to protect the Creator of the universe and the King of kings” (”What Does The Bible Say About Gun Control?”, in Chalcedon Report).

Years after the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, Paul writes to Timothy: “But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” (1 Timothy 5:8). “This passage applies to our subject because it would be absurd to buy a house, furnish it with food and facilities for one’s family, and then refuse to install locks and provide the means to protect the family and the property,” Mr. Pratt wrote.

This also recalls another quote from the Bible: “If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed. If the sun has risen on him, there shall be guilt for his bloodshed. He should make full restitution; if he has nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft” (Exodus 22: 2-3.) He who steals into another’s home bears the responsibility of his criminal action. Self-defense is not a crime.

  18. cao on October 31st, 2005 7:18 pm

“For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven… a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.”

    – Ecclesiastes 3

GET THAT? There is a time for WAR.

Hatred is not necessarily of the devil. Like any emotion, it is neutral, its morality determined solely by the object to which it is directed. A man’s desire to fleetingly conquer a woman is immoral, but the ambition to conquer disease is Godly. The same is true of hatred. It is demonic only when directed at innocent people who happen to have darker skin than you, but truly appropriate when directed at someone whose murderous actions have made the world a darker place.

Exhortations to hate all manner of evil abound in the Bible. The book of Proverbs declares, “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.” Likewise, King David declares regarding the wicked, “I have hated them with a deep loathing. They are as enemies to me.” Hatred is the moral response to those who have gone beyond the pale of decency by committing acts which unweave the basic fabric of civilized living. To encounter evil is to come under the injunction of never showing even a morsel of sympathy lest we weaken our determination to destroy it.

The demonization of hatred in our time has derived principally from liberalism for which toleration of nearly everything is paramount. Hatred of evil implies both the right to make judgments, as well as a belief in absolutes, both of which are anathema to liberalism. While it has some redeeming qualities, my foremost argument against liberalism is that it harbors no abhorrence or detestation of evil.

Indeed, liberals hate war much more than they hate evil, which is why Kofi Annan and Jacques Chirac were prepared to leave Saddam in power in order to avoid conflict. But with so much evil in the world, people have grown weary with those who serve as its apologists, and thus liberalism has been largely discredited, with even President Clinton deciding to abandon the term and replace it with “progressivism.”

In fairness, however, it is not just liberals who have forgotten how to hate. Many of my Christian brothers and sisters mistakenly believe that God loathes hatred. They quote Jesus’ teaching to turn the other cheek and his admonishment to love your enemies as proof that we dare never hate. On my radio show, many evangelical Christians have called to tell me that, in God’s eyes, we are all sinners, and thus from a heavenly perspective Osama bin Laden and the average housewife from Kansas are equal. Osama must indeed face justice for his crimes, but we dare not hate him seeing that Jesus still loves him.

But this is a travesty of Jesus’ teachings and would make this great Hebrew personality into someone who had contempt for his victims as he extended love to their murderers. Jesus advocated turning the other check to petty slights and affronts to our honor, not to mass graves and torture chambers. Likewise, while Jesus taught that we ought to love our own enemies, this did not apply to God’s enemies. Our enemies are people who are our rivals for a promotion at work. God’s enemies are those who slaughter his children.

Let not any Christian think that Jesus’ sympathy was for anyone other than the oppressed and the poor. True, the Bible commands us to “love our neighbor” as ourselves, but the man who kills children is not our neighbor. Having cast off the image of God, he has lost his divine spark and is condemned to eternal oblivion from which not even a belief in salvation will rescue him. He or she who murders God’s children has been lost to God forever and has abandoned all entitlement to love, earning eternal derision in its stead.

To love the terrorist who flies a civilian plane into a building or a white supremacist who drags a black man three miles while tied to the back of a car is not just scandalous, it is sinful. To love evil is itself evil and constitutes a passive form of complicity. The old saying is right: Those who are kind to the cruel end up being cruel to the kind.

The Bible instructs us “rejoice not when thine enemy falleth” and I am not advocating that we dance in the streets when we hear about America killing terrorists in Iraq. But to extend compassion to these impenitent and incorrigible monsters is an act of mocking God who has mercy for all, yet demands unequivocal justice for the innocent. To show kindness to the murderer is to violate the victim yet again.

The pacifist will respond that fighting hatred with hatred accomplishes nothing. They will quote the old Bob Dylan song that says, “If we take an eye for an eye we all just end up blind.” But the purpose of our hatred is not revenge, but justice. We do not seek to breed hatred so that it might linger in our breast, but so that it might inspire us to stop murder and bloodshed.

If you don’t hate Saddam Hussein, then you will find ample reason not to topple him from power. But if watching him gas Kurdish children makes you see him for the abomination he is, then you will risk blood and treasure to put him on trial for his crimes against humanity.

How bizarre that the French and Germans today hate George Bush more than Saddam Hussein. Their efforts to prevent the United States from invading Iraq, and their treatment of Saddam as nothing more than a nuisance, speaks volumes about their indifference to bloodshed and their troubling neutrality on the subject of evil. At Sinai, God entrusted humanity with the promotion of justice, enjoining us to turn an immoral jungle into a civilized society. We seek out the Saddams of this world to prevent further genocides and establish justice. In the words of Aristotle, “All virtue is summed up in dealing justly.”

Some will say that by promoting hatred of evil I am trampling on the ideas of atonement and forgiveness. I disagree. Repentance is based on recognizing the infinite value of human life. Because God loves humanity, He provides a point of return so that the individual might find his way back to the light. Since repentance is predicated on the value of life, it cannot be offered to those who undermine its basic premise by irretrievably debasing life.

For a murderer to lament his actions in public and achieve instant absolution is an affront to everything forgiveness stands for. There are those offenses for which there is no forgiveness, borders that are crossed for which there is no return. Mass murder is foremost among them.

Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people, but for the appalling silence of the good people.” Only if we hate the truly evil passionately will we summon the determination to fight them fervently. Odd and uncomfortable as it may seem, hatred has its place.

Our belief system (Christianity) should not prevent us from defending ourselves. In fact, it encourages us to do so.

There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding our Lord’s statement in Matthew 5:39: “But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.” (New King James Version. )

In Exodus 20:13, part of the Ten Commandments, we read “Thou shalt not kill” (KJV). The accurate English translation would be “You shall not murder”. This commandment does NOT forbid the taking of life under certain circumstances. A good interpretation what this commandment does mean is here:

What Are the Duties Required In the Sixth Commandment?
Answer: The duties required in the sixth commandment are, all careful studies, and lawful endeavors, to preserve the life of ourselves and others by resisting all thoughts and purposes, subduing all passions, and avoiding, all occasions, temptations, and practices, which tend to the unjust taking away the life of any; by just defense thereof against violence, patient bearing of the hand of God, quietness of mind, cheerfulness of spirit; a sober use of meat, drink, physical, sleep, labour, and recreations; by charitable thoughts, love, compassion, meekness, gentleness, kindness; peaceable, mild and courteous speeches and behaviour; forbearance, readiness to be reconciled, patient bearing and forgiving of injuries, and requiting good for evil; comforting and succouring the distressed, and protecting and defending the innocent. (Q. &A. 135;)

We are instructed to: “preserve the life of ourselves and others by resisting…” (emphasis added). This is with the wise recognition of the necessity, at times, to use defensive measures to aid others when necessary. They also say “by just defense thereof against violence.” This is a call for the legitimate use of self-defense. The Scriptures used to defend (no pun intended) this statement are Ps. 82:4; Prov. 24:11-12; 1 Sam. 14:45.

Another passage of Scripture in Exodus tells us that protecting your family and possessions by using physical force when an intruder enters your home at night is legitimate: ” If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him. If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.” (Ex. 22:2-3). This passage simply means that one can defend his home and life and that of his family if a thief or intruder comes in at night and threatens them. If it is during the daylight hours and the situation is not life threatening then lethal force can NOT be used.

In 1 Samuel 13:19,22 (see main page for the verses and a short comment) we see what happens when individuals of a nation no longer have the equipment to make and bear arms and defend themselves, their families and their nation. An open invitation to be attacked and plundered. Is this not, in reality, what the anti-self-defense people are setting us up for?

In Nehemiah 4 we see that the Jews were instructed to defend themselves and the wall they were building from those who wanted to use any means to keep it from being built. ” They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. For the builders, every one had his sword girded by his side, and so builded. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.” (Neh. 4:17,18; KJV).

There are other Old Testament passages could be given but these ought to suffice. In the New Testament we have such passages as Luke 22:36, which says: ” Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it,and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one”. Our Lord encouraged His disciples to get protection for use in self-defense. Elsewhere in the NT we have Paul saying that one must take care of his own family (1 Tim. 5:18) and, this a means defending them as well.

The New Testament does not contradict the Old Testament instruction on self-defense by saying “turn the other cheek”.

“YO MORON-BOY! WE DROPPED 2, NOT 1 OR 2 YOU RETARD!!!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR BEING SUCH A “student of history, especially that of WWII” YOU TOTAL AND COMPLETE RETARD!!!!!”

There was a hint of sarcasm there you twit. But you are so dense that it completely slipped by your pea brain.

“YOU ARE SUCH A MORON!!! YOU PROBABLY GET ALL YOUR “NEWS” FROM THE FOX-WHITE-HOUSE-NEO-NAZI-PROPAGANDA-CHANNEL!!!!!!!”

Oh brain-dead one, you claim that I get my info from Fox News, and you quote the “Guardian” as the source for the 100,000 dead Iraqi civilian count, a disputed and quite inflated number at best… You probably follow Kos daily and are a participate at the Dhimmicratic underground… dense.. like black hole dense.. is what you are…

“SO THEREFORE YOU ARE SAYING THE TARGETED KILLING OF CIVILIANS IS OK AS LONG AS IT SAVES AMERICAN LIVES. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM, YOU ANTI-INTELLECTUAL MORON!!!”

No, you imbecilic toddler, what I was saying is that our country ended WW II by targeting cities, areas of production, and effectively ended WWII, saving overall both Japanese and American lives. Many millions of Japanese would have died in the ensuing invasion. Plus, oh mentally-diminished one, as technology has become more advanced, it is easier to target the combatants and lower the collateral damage.

“WOW, FOR AN INTELLECTUAL AND A STUDENT OF HISTORY, YOU DON’T SEEM TO KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE MARSHALL PLAN. THIS WAS IMPLEMENTED BY THE US, NOT THE UN, IT REBUILT JAPAN AND GERMANY, AND TURNED THEM FROM OUR MORTAL ENEMIES TO SOME OF OUR CLOSEST ALLIES”

Typical troll. To quick to shoot their mouths off and to slow in their thinking. I didn’t say that the U.N. negotitated the peace in WWII. I was implying that you wish it would have, had it existed. Oh, and the Marshall Plan, oh great student of history, was for the rebuilding of Europe, not of Japan. Great call retard. In fact, we didn’t give them much help at all, not until the outbreak of the Korean War. But you being the great student of history and all probably new that , right?

“WE STILL OCCUPY THAT COUNTRY!!!! NICE JOB ON THE ‘OL WAR ON DRUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

War on Terror. War on Terror. How bout that one oh sultan of slowness? Oh, you mean you can’t really talk about how bad the war on terror is going on in that country, so you wish to talk about the war on drugs, the one we are not fighting over there. Nice straw man.

NOW READ THIS, IF YOU CAN…..

Exclusive: CIA Commander: U.S. Let bin Laden Slip Away

Aug. 15, 2005 issue - During the 2004 presidential campaign, George W. Bush and John Kerry battled about whether Osama bin Laden had escaped from Tora Bora in the final days of the war in Afghanistan. Bush, Kerry charged, “didn’t choose to use American forces to hunt down and kill” the leader of Al Qaeda. The president called his opponent’s allegation “the worst kind of Monday-morning quarterbacking.” Bush asserted that U.S. commanders on the ground did not know if bin Laden was at the mountain hideaway along the Afghan border.

But in a forthcoming book, the CIA field commander for the agency’s Jawbreaker team at Tora Bora, Gary Berntsen, says he and other U.S. commanders did know that bin Laden was among the hundreds of fleeing Qaeda and Taliban members. Berntsen says he had definitive intelligence that bin Laden was holed up at Tora Bora—intelligence operatives had tracked him—and could have been caught. “He was there,” Berntsen tells NEWSWEEK. Asked to comment on Berntsen’s remarks, National Security Council spokesman Frederick Jones passed on 2004 statements from former CENTCOM commander Gen. Tommy Franks. “We don’t know to this day whether Mr. bin Laden was at Tora Bora in December 2001,” Franks wrote in an Oct. 19 New York Times op-ed. “Bin Laden was never within our grasp.” Berntsen says Franks is “a great American. But he was not on the ground out there. I was.”

In his book—titled “Jawbreaker”—the decorated career CIA officer criticizes Donald Rumsfeld’s Defense Department for not providing enough support to the CIA and the Pentagon’s own Special Forces teams in the final hours of Tora Bora, says Berntsen’s lawyer, Roy Krieger. (Berntsen would not divulge the book’s specifics, saying he’s awaiting CIA clearance.) That backs up other recent accounts, including that of military author Sean Naylor, who calls Tora Bora a “strategic disaster” because the Pentagon refused to deploy a cordon of conventional forces to cut off escaping Qaeda and Taliban members. Maj. Todd Vician, a Defense Department spokesman, says the problem at Tora Bora “was not necessarily just the number of troops.”

Berntsen’s book gives, by contrast, a heroic portrayal of CIA activities at Tora Bora and in the war on terror. Ironically, he has sued the agency over what he calls unacceptable delays in approving his book—a standard process for ex-agency employees describing classified matters. “They’re just holding the book,” which is scheduled for October release, he says. “CIA officers, Special Forces and U.S. air power drove the Taliban out in 70 days. The CIA has taken roughly 80 days to clear my book.” Jennifer Millerwise, a CIA spokeswoman, says Berntsen’s “timeline is not accurate,” adding that he submitted his book as an ex-employee only in mid-June. “We take seriously our goal of responding quickly.”

    LiberalRepubkianMoronCamelHumper,

War on Drugs in this argument is a straw man. Here are some definitions:

    Straw Man:
Present the opponent’s argument in weakened form, refute it, and pretend that the original has been refuted.
Present a misrepresentation of the opponent’s position, refute it, and pretend that the opponent’s actual position has been refuted.
Present someone who defends a position poorly as the defender, refute that person’s arguments, and pretend that every upholder of that position, and thus the position itself, has been defeated.
Invent a fictitious persona with actions or beliefs that are criticized, and pretend that the person represents a group that the speaker is critical of.

The War on Terror. Yes, that is what we are fighting in AFghanistan, not the “War on Drugs”. Personally the War on Terror should be War on Islamic Terrorists, since that is who we are really fighting.

Take a quote out of the President’s speech, and then you complain about how he tied it into the War on Terror. The question I have is, do you disagree with that statement? Would the terrorists not like to wreak that kind of havoc and destruction upon the United States. Indeed they would, and the President was right to point that out.

War on Terror. Not War on Afghanistan. War on Terror. How many Afghani’s attacked us on 9/11. Guess what, none did! So why did we attack Afghanistan? Yet you seem to support that endeavor.

You have no idea what being a traitor means, and yet you call for the President of the U.S and his staff to be tried for it and executed. You quote a book by a former CIA officer, a member of the same CIA that claimed that Saddam had WMDs. Amazing how you pick what you choose to trust from them. Nothing in that book seems to claim that Bush just let Bin Ladnen go away.

“I SAID READ THAT, YOU TOTAL BRAIN DEAD RETARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (OH, AND IF YOU SUPPORT THE WAR IN IRAQ SO MUCH, GO… NOW!!!!!!!!!!! SHUT YOUR TRAP AND GO!!!!!)”

And, you, yellow-bellied coffee-house communist, I have been to Iraq and Afghanistan. Once again your logic, if you can call it that, fails you. Since I have been, and that apparently carries so much weight, why don’t you step down, like Cao said, to the local Code Pink chapter, volunteer to join the Islamists, and go to Iraq to support the side you love so dearly. Then when an American Patriot puts a bullet in your skull as you try to murder children in the name of Islam, you’ll stop wasting air and space.

You are so easily dispatched. I knocked you back and your hysterics show that you are truly on the defensive and your little world is falling apart. Continue your delusions as you suffer from a terminal case of Bush Derangement Syndrome. I pity you. And now I wash my hands of you. No more comments will be coming from me in response to you. Let the people who read this decide who is rational, and who is a complete looney-tune.

Only one question, LRNS, WHEN DID THE DRAFT COME BACK? I’m only 28, and from MY studies in American History, the last time a draft was imposed on the country was OVER THIRTY YEARS AGO! Next, how does one dodge a draft yet end up in uniform? Unlike President “disappearing cigar” Clinton who DID dodge the draft by FLEEING THE COUNTRY. Last, if I COULD serve, I WOULD GO IN A HEART BEAT, but, unfortunately, the surgery I had to have on my knees during (and after) high school, THEY WON’T TAKE ME! Last, you yell about “Bush sending people’s kids to die”, so if you are so worried about “kids” (which they are NOT and they VOLUNTEERED for the job) being “sent to die”, why are you only worried about “liberals kids”, since you obviously care NOTHING for the life of TWO ADULT children of the PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.!

I’ll say it like I say on MY blog, no one is forcing you to stay here, so if we are so “retarded” and such, why do you keep reading?

SAUSAGE-EATER — if you are 28 and you REALLY thought the war in Iraq was worth dying for, you would find a way to go.

Oh, and by the way, are you saying Clinton dodged the draft, but BUSH-the- did not? ARE YOU KIDDING??? And you probably think John-3-Purple-Hearts-Bronze-Star-Silver-Star-Kerry who VOLUNTEERED FOR COMBAT DUTY is also a draft dodger. YOU ARE A RETARD!!

I just searched the Halliburton web site and found 917 jobs available IN IRAQ! Come on, Dick-Draft-Dodger-War-Criminal-Traitor-Pro-Torture-Just-Like-Saddam-Cheney needs more money. Go work for him! Go DIE for him!!! PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR BIG MOUTH IS!!!!

AMERICAN TRAITORS NEED MORE MONEY… GO DIE FOR THEM!!!

Cheney’s Halliburton stock options rose 3,281% last year, senator finds…

An analysis released by a Democratic senator found that Vice President Dick Cheney’s Halliburton stock options have risen 3,281 percent in the last year…

    Cheney’s options — worth $241,498 a year ago — are now valued at more than $8 million…

“Halliburton has already raked in more than $10 billion [HOLY !!!] from the Bush-Cheney Administration for work in Iraq, and they were awarded some of the first Katrina contracts,” Lautenberg said in a statement. “It is unseemly for the Vice President to continue to benefit from this company at the same time his Administration funnels billions of dollars to it. The Vice President should sever his financial ties to Halliburton once and for all.”

Cheney continues to hold 433,333 Halliburton stock options. The company has been criticized by auditors for its handling of a no-bid contact [ALSO KNOWN AS ***FREE MONEY***] in Iraq. Auditors found the firm marked up meal prices for troops and inflated gas prices in a deal with a Kuwaiti supplier. The company built the American prison at Guantanamo Bay.

The Vice President has sought to stem criticism by signing an agreement to donate the after-tax profits from these stock options to charities of his choice, and his lawyer has said he will not take any tax deduction for the donations.

However, the Congressional Research Service (CRS) concluded in Sept. 2003 that holding stock options while in elective office does constitute a “financial interest” regardless of whether the holder of the options will donate proceeds to charities. CRS also found that receiving deferred compensation [TREASON-BOY IS STILL GETTGIN PAID BY THEM!!!] is a financial interest.

Cheney told “Meet the Press” in 2003 that he didn’t have any financial ties to the firm.

“Since I left Halliburton to become George Bush’s vice president, I’ve severed all my ties with the company[LIAR!!!!!!], gotten rid of all my financial interest[LIAR!!!!!!],” the Vice President said. “I have no financial interest in Halliburton of any kind and haven’t had, now, for over three years[LIAR!!!!!!].”

Cheney continues to received a deferred salary from the company. According to financial disclosure forms, he was paid $205,298 in 2001; $162,392 in 2002; $178,437 in 2003; and $194,852 in 2004.
