L.A.: Stop The ACLU and Save The Seal
Posted on September 23, 2005
BIG HAT TIP TO: California Conservative who alerted me of this, and due to a heavy workload at my job today, has allowed me to completely copy and paste the info from their site. Thanks.
A major battle between the ACLU and 92% of the citizens of Los Angels County is coming to a head this weekend over keeping the original County Seal. Tens of thousands of citizens are engaged in this non-partisan battle by signing the petition and letting their voices be heard…
“We will not succumb to the socialist demands of the ACLU who has its roots in communism.” says Jeffers Dodge, media director for the SaveTheSeal.net petition campaign. “This county is standing up to the relentless secular cleansing by the ACLU; The Cross on the LA County Seal, the Ten Commandments, the Boy Scouts, The Pledge of Alliance, The Military, Marriage and Christmas. We need to stop the A.C.L.U. and their Secular-Humanist agenda.”
“By exploiting the Civil Rights Attorney’s Fees Awards Act of 1976, the A.C.L.U. is able to scour the country in search of frivolous lawsuits to extort and divert taxpayer money into their coffers. The battle with the A.C.L.U does not stop with the cross on the L.A. County Seal, however, it is the line in the sand,” says David Hernandez the leader of the petition drive.
On one hand the ACLU is relentless suing the Boy Scouts and on the other they are defending MABLA while they are doing their best to erase historical references to religion in general and Christianity in particular.
This Monday September 26 is the last day we can go to the post office and pick up petitions.
And as Jeffers Dodge likes to put it, “As goes Los Angeles so goes California so goes America.”
Go sign their petition

It is time we make a stand against this vile organization. I resent my tax dollars being spent to fund the ACLU’s aganda.
At the heart of this issue is whether the ACLU and the federal courts can trump the will of the people. Over 90% of the people want the original seal restored.
Do we as citizens have the right through the democratic process to decide for ourselves what we want and how we want to live? Right or Wrong I believe we do. And the ACLU and the federal court system’s liberal activist judges can all go POUND SALT.
Thanks for bringing this up. As you might remember, I blogged on this last week. What worries me, is that there won’t be enough time to gather the needed signatures. It’s all very frustrating.
If these people were actually doing something like actually protecting AMERICANS CIVIL LIBERTIES instead of continually attacking us and defending TERRORISTS maybe just maybe they’d have some credibility…
Leave our Pledge, our BoyScouts, our Ten Commandments, our RIGHTS alone and rename yourselves the Anti-American Civil Liberties Union…or USSR for short.
