ACLU Continues To Erase Christianity From American History

Fearing an expensive legal challenge from the ACLU, a county commissioner begrudgingly ordered removal of a display of the 23rd Psalm from a courthouse.

Lawyers with the Georgia chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union charged that displaying the tapestry at the Oglethorpe County Courthouse in Lexington, Ga., essentially is the same as displaying the Ten Commandments, the Athens, Ga., Banner-Herald reported.

So how do you feel about this folks? Should we lay down in the road and let the ACLU run over us over, and over, and over? What is so threatening about this display? Apparently the same thing that is wrong with the ten commandments, it is religion, and the ACLU will not tolerate religion in a government building, unless its Islam or Wiccan.

Its a huge problem really. Do you stand on principle, or do you fall to defeatism? In many cases it depends on what you can afford to do. Do you have enough money behind you to fight, and is it worth it when you know the probabilities of losing? The ACLU is a money machine fighting Christianity hard. If you can’t dig into your pocket to help fight them, then you might as well give up.

Johnson said, regarding the tapestry controversy, “It’s a shame to say you’re not willing to [fight it], but when you know you’re going to lose before you start, there’s no need to fight the battle.”

Johnson added, “I’m not in agreement with the courts. I think we should have the right to do it, but the Supreme Court says we don’t.”

Stamey said she hung the tapestry to cover an unsightly window in the hallway and because she wanted to share her faith and the 23rd Psalm.

“I love it because of what it says,” Stamey told the Banner-Herald.

But the ACLU believes that religious expression, especially if it is Christian should be left at the Church, or privacy of home. And while the Constitution says no such thing, the ACLU has been quite successful in convincing many judges otherwise.

So, do we lie down and give in, or do we dig into our pocket, stand up, and make our voice heard across the nation? We are trying to make our voice loud and clear. We are trying to raise money to put an ad in the Washinton Times. So far, thanks to all of our supporters, we have raised $980.00! The ad will cost us $2500.00. Help us stand up to the ACLU!

Or Buy a bumper sticker from our store!
Thank you for all the support to our cause.

God bless the ALCU! Hell, if God created everything, then he must have created the ACLU too!

CL, you are so sad. If you really believed in and sponsored the ACLU, you would never used the word God in your response. Second of all, the ACLPue is not only trying to erase Christianity but the entire Judeo-Christian culture that this country was founded on. The one religion that they’re not trying to get rid or and are actually on a crusade to promote is Islam. The founding fathers have to be rolling in their graves right now. Just such a sad state of affairs.
