Anthony D. Romero, the director of the American Civil Liberties Union, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in June, East Hampton Village police said on Tuesday.
Police Chief Jerry Larsen said the arrest report had been inadvertently omitted from the weekly arrest sheets.
