Wacky Alan Grayson (D-Fl) Wants To Jail Critic For 5 Years
Just imagine the furor from the media, the Nutroots, and Democrats on the floor of the House if Grayson had an “R” after his name
Not everyone thinks imitation is the best form of flattery.
In fact, U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson of Orlando took such offense at a parody website aimed at unseating him that the freshman Democrat has asked that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder investigate the Lake County activist who started the anti-Grayson website “mycongressmanisnuts.com.”
Specifically, Grayson accuses Republican activist Angie Langley of lying to federal elections. His four-page complaint highlights the fact that the Clermont resident lives outside his district, but that Langley still uses the term “my” in “mycongressmanisnuts.com.”
“Ms. Langley has deliberately masqueraded as a constituent of mine, in order to try to create the false appearance that she speaks for constituents who don’t support me,” writes Grayson. “[She] has chosen a name for her committee that is utterly tasteless and juvenile.”
Grayson’s office did not respond with comment other than to confirm the letter exists — including its request that Langley be fined and “imprisoned for five years.”
Let me see, checking out ye olde Constitution and the Bill of Rights (yes, I know the BOR is part of the Constitution)……. nope, can’t find anything that requires critics of elected officials to reside in a Congress Critter’s district. I did find something about Free Speech and the ability to protest peaceably.
I am assuming all you Democrat voters will tell Grayson to stop his insanity, after you complained about Bush’s supposed assaults on the 1st Amendment. Anybody?

Given that Congressmen represent interests beyond the bounds of their constituency, I consider Grayson *my* Congressman as well. And I’m 2000 miles away from his special little political [edited] in Florida.
So I too feel free to call him my servant, and to seek his ouster. And to seek the humiliation of this humiliation on what was once a decent legislative body.
The term is two years longer, thank God, but regardless, Grayson should be censored and perhaps restrained for his own good.
When you wonder what the difference is between Grayson’s harmless madness and a man killing millions, remember our second amendment and our founders genius in the way they set up the government. The truth about his wanting to jail a critic is he would if he could. That is scary.
It sounds like this woman has a beef that is more than what she is telling. Bet she had a bad outcome for a legal mater when he was still a lawyer.I live in his district, and the man he replaced, was a lot worse.I would be offended by attacks over politics from a person that doesn’t have a say at election time. What is Cheney still doing in DC, His former company,Haliburton is in Dubia,no longer paying US taxes. But still with no-bid contracts.Sec.Rice couldn’t even answer about her own responsibility when testifying
before Congress. And we are worried about a petty fight.Priorities People, not trivial pursuits. If Congress treated Bush Like they did Clinton, a lot of people would be in Jail, with or without a BJ.Oh…Pardon them!
My congressman has a commitment to do what is best for the country,They come from much smaller segments of voters for a reason.A Senator my be your Senator too. But our congressman is there to represent our district, not yours!
