It’s funny, we were talking a few days ago, noting that we never quote CNN or MSNBC as a news source any more, except in an instance like this. CNN was once a news leader. Snickering on air about tea-bagging isn’t helping either one in the ratings, or the credibility department.

It has nothing to do with Bush, and everything to do with trillions of dollars in spending, gangster government Czars, and every issue declared a crisis with bills that have to be passed NOW or the world will end, and President with a Congress who tries to push massive spending bills through with no input, no discussion, no compromise – without even knowing what is in the bill.

Oh no, it’s a REAL grassroots movement! After eight years of Bush, right-wingers suddenly and spontaneously decided that they were against deficit spending, shocking everyone who had been watching themselves spend the country into bankruptcy for the past decade. And the fact that it happened just as a Democratic administration was sworn in is merely the most miraculous of coincidences.

It is worth adding that most adults didn’t know what the term “fisting” meant either,

I guess in Maddow’s (and her apologist’s) eyes that means they are not ’sophisticated’, and that they are, in Jim’s opinion above, “the stupidest people on the planet.”

It is interesting to see the Left, who have been all about protests for many, many years suddenly dancing up and down in fury over people standing up and protesting back.

It’s even worse to see the Left (people like Maddow and the others on MSNBC) vociferously denigrate people who are simply saying, “Act Responsibly.” “Read the bill before you vote on it.”

Right. Let’s take away all the things they pay taxes for.

You have a fundamental failure to understand what the social contract is. People agree to pool their money, in the form of taxes, to pay for things like police protection and road construction and maintenance. Additionally, they agree to pay taxes to maintain a military force.

It’s not your money to take away, Jim. But if you were going to, you would no longer have the right to take their money.

The teabaggers are easily the stupidest people on the planet. They know nothing. “Grass roots?” give me a break. They were organized by Dick Armey, Glenn Beck, and any number of rightwing lunatics who are more interested in power than people. They show up with pictures comparing health care reform to Nazi concentration camps, with no actual knowledge of history, or perhaps how that might feel to Holocaust survivors. They don’t care – they don’t know any Jews. They scream crap like ‘Obama is a fascist” and then don’t know what the word means when challenged. They are racist, obese, stupid rednecks who are qualified to do nothing but remove trash from landfills.

As far as their protests about the gov’t spending too much money, they sat on their very ample behinds (do you notice how fat they are?) while Bush bankrupted the US on his revenge-for-my-daddy war. In case you didn’t notice, a sizable majority voted the Republicans out a year ago, saying collectively, “go away.”

Tell you what – let’s test the teabaggers and see just how much they actually want the government out of their lives. Yes, and if the “Tea Party” people were professional activists, they would have had the term vetted. As it is, when REAL people actually stand up to protest, they do not have access to Think Tanks and have not even thought about Googling terms like “Teabagger”

There is a huge difference between these ordinary citizens and professional activists who use the “grassroots” cloak to hide their true nature.

The “Tea’Bagger” term came out of the LEFT WING Think Tanks – a talking point designed to denigrate the Tea Party concept, movement and people. KOS or DU started it, as far as I can tell, and MSNBC gleefully picked it up and ran with it, because they are incapable of setting their bias aside. They seem to have a vested interest in protecting all things Obama. It is more than just orders, when challenged, the look on Campbell Brown’s face (for example) is very telling.

The Tea Partiers are attacked for their innocence.
