UN: Free condoms for global warming!

One of the basic tenets of the global warming myth is population control. It doesn’t matter that there’s almost no one who still believes in global warming, liberals will still try to use it to try to accomplish their own twisted plans. The latest example of this is the UN’s bright new decision to combat global warming: free condoms! Because, you know, we have just got to stop the baby-making!
The battle against global warming could be helped if the world slowed population growth by making free condoms and family planning advice more widely available, the U.N. Population Fund said Wednesday.
The agency did not recommend countries set limits on how many children people should have, but said: “Women with access to reproductive health services … have lower fertility rates that contribute to slower growth in greenhouse gas emissions.”
“As the growth of population, economies and consumption outpaces the Earth’s capacity to adjust, climate change could become much more extreme and conceivably catastrophic,” the report said.
The world’s population will likely rise from the current 6.7 billion to 9.2 billion in 2050, with most of the growth in less developed regions, according to a 2006 report by the United Nations.
The U.N. Population Fund acknowledged it had no proof of the effect that population control would have on climate change. “The linkages between population and climate change are in most cases complex and indirect,” the report said.
So the UN can’t even establish a credible link between population growth and climate change, yet we’re just supposed to start gobbling up our free condoms and spit out less babies? Yeah, I’m sure we’ll get right on that.
What’s interesting is how you consider that population control is such a strong element of the global warming cult. Liberals have been attacking the family for decades as it is, and I can’t help but wonder if this is just another part of that. After all, the global warming hoax was dreamed up mainly by liberals and kept going by liberals. Is the population control aspect just another part of the liberal attack on the family? It’s hard to tell for sure, but something tells me that it’s more than just coincidence.

Population control is important. If you look at Africa the reason they are starving is because they have to many people for what the land can support. The problem is how do you control population growth. If you look at the people who normally have large families are the parents who can not afford to have such large families (liberals will normally throw in the race flag now), but having the government mandate how many children an individual has is definitely some place I don’t want to go. So how do you limit population growth? Free condoms; people have to use them, and as long as there is a monetary incentive that the government will support children people will still have excess kids. So what is the solution; education. The more educated a population is the less children they have, because an educated person realizes a child is expensive in both the wallet and the time needed to raise one. So while handing out condoms is an easy way to “say” we are helping control the population it won’t do a thing. The real solution, like most good solutions, is not easy, and with our short attention span in America we don’t have the will to solve this problem.
