It's probably best that the ACLU offices not be targeted by terrorists so that they won't make malicious decisions masked as "justice" and based on anger, fear, and vengeance.
I'd prefer that the American standards of a just and fair judicial process be applied to those who try to destroy it. Otherwise their cause is further validated and more convincing for others susceptible to performing violent acts.

[...] Eric Holder called his decision to try the suspected plotters of 9/11 in New York City “the toughest decision I’ve had to make as attorney general.” It was unarguably the most controversial one. In my opinion, it was also the stupidest one. The decision has rightly received plenty of criticism, but what has not been talked about is the months of lobbying behind closed doors that made this happen. Meanwhile, one of the major players responsible for pushing this is popping the cork and cheering the decision. [...]

It would be interesting to see what would happen if ACLU offices and members, Code Pink people, liberal strongholds such as the Upper West Side, San Francisco and Hollywood or even neighborhoods where MSM people lived, were targeted by these terrorists for massacre and other acts of violence. I really wonder what their response would be, if they would call it a crime and insist on constitutional rights for these acts of war. They seem to always remain untouched by these acts. So it would really be interesting to know.
