Hasan Tried To Contact al Qaeda. Sounds Like A Jihadi To Me
Posted on November 9, 2009
Blowing apart much of the media’s portrayal of Nidal Hasan as just an upset person whose actions had nothing to do with Islamic terrorism, ABC strangely tells the truth
U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.
It is not known whether the intelligence agencies informed the Army that one of its officers was seeking to connect with suspected al Qaeda figures, the officials said.
Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), the ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said that he requested the CIA and other intelligence agencies brief the committee on what was known, if anything, about Hasan by the U.S. intelligence community, only to be refused.
For a long time, ever since 9/11, people have been asking the government to “connect the dots.” Much of the connecting of the dots is stopped by political correctness. Or inter-agency turf wars. Failure of government in one of the main duties it is charged with by the Constitution. Lord help anyone in government who sat on this information and/or anyone telling someone to sit on the intelligence.

ABC’s Brian Ross put all this information out there, and then ended with “appears to a lone wolf with serious emotional troubles.” They just can’t help themselves.
That [edited] Chris Matthews actually asked one of his guests if it was a crime to call Al Qaeda. It’s over at newsbusters.com
This is one of the reasons FoxNews trounces the competition. And it’s another great great GREAT example of State Run Media stupidity.
Well Akbar, if my willingness to meet any enemy of this country at the door and call him for what he is makes me a “way-sis”, then so be it. I look forward to this terrorist’s execution by either firing squad or hanging. Maybe we’ll invent a new music video called “Swinging like Saddam”? You can be a guest of honor at the premier.
