Army Doubles Down on Political Correctness That Enabled Hasan
Posted on November 9, 2009
The governmedia has been twisting itself into pretzels in attempts to justify siding with Muslim terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan against the memories of the 13 Americans he murdered. “Compassion fatigue” doesn’t even begin to pass the laugh test, but our liberal rulers have an alternate explanation for Hasan’s killing spree: he was harassed for being a Muslim — the implication being that mass murder is an appropriate response to teasing for those who belong to a politically sacred special interest group.
But was this terrorist lowlife even teased? Ralph Peters doubts it:
Let me kill the harassment myth right now: Political correctness rules in today’s Army. We even protect our enemies these days. Had any soldier harassed Hasan because of his Islamist nuttiness, that soldier would’ve disappeared faster than a Franklin on a Times Square sidewalk.
Any snarky remarks directed toward Hasan — if there were any — would’ve come in reaction to his railing against our government, our military’s mission and the monstrous injustice that, after grabbing an education in psychiatry worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from our military, he might have had to do his duty.
Far from being harassed himself, this creep was allowed to harass the soldiers he treated for stress disorders. According to colleagues, Hasan not only argued with his patients about our wars, but preached Islam to those under his care. (Just what troubled vets needed, no doubt.)
Prejudice? You bet. In this terrorist’s favor. Nobody in Hasan’s chain of command had the sense of duty to weed this pervert out. Why? Hasan would’ve accused them of discrimination. And the officer who brought charges against Hasan would’ve been the one whose career suffered.
Don’t believe it? Here’s proof:
General George Casey Jr., the Army chief of staff, said on Sunday that he was concerned that speculation about the religious beliefs of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, accused of killing 12 fellow soldiers and one civilian and wounding dozens of others in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, could “cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers.”
“I’ve asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that,” General Casey said in an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union. “It would be a shame — as great a tragedy as this was — it would be a shame if our diversity became a casualty as well.”
That is, the same suicidal political correctness that prevented anyone from responding to the red flags Hasan had been flapping around in open sight will now be intensified, assuring that future Hasans can fester undisturbed like the pustules they are until it’s time for them to pop.

Casey asked his officers to be on the lookout for “backlash” against Muslim soldiers?? WTF???
Has he asked his “officers” to be on the “lookout” for more Muzztard terrorists in their ranks??
I have been called many vile names and endured sad experiences because I am female. Does this mean that if I do some mass murdering everyone will be sympathetic to me and feel sorry for me?
I doubt it. Just bec this assh*le is muslim, we have to try to make it America’s fault that his religion provided him with a framework to enoble his cowardly violence.
Multi-culturalism is a receipt for the death of our nation. Diversity is a code word for a divided and fallen America.
GEN Casey almost lost the war in Iraq because of his poor judgment and his unwillingness to engage evil when he found it. It is this type of political correctness that led to those deaths at Ft. Hood. You can be certain that those of us on active duty are not worried about the feelings of our Muslim brethren so much as we are worried about the safety of our soldiers. Prepare for backlash against any attempt by the powers-that-be to force sensitivity training on us while radical Islamists continue to kill our fellow soldiers around the world, and now at home.
We Vietnam vets had to worry about being killed by the nva or viet cong. These soldiers have to worry about being shot by their own before getting to the war zone.
This is the result of allowing huge numbers of mooooslim “immigrants” into our country. Did we have jihad attacks, beheadings, honor killings of daughters, say 10 yrs ago? 20 yrs ago? 50 yrs ago?
What variable is different? Answer: The moooslim population is much larger today, due to immigration of “our enemy” over the past 15 yrs or so.
We are now so “diverse” that we allow the enemy to populate our country via immigration and even allow them to serve in our armed forces! Can you say stooopid?
Like Will, I’m also in the Army (here in Alaska) – lucky for me my commander hates Political Correctness.
I just got back from a week of training. We (the office I work out of) often have “watercooler” talk and heard his latest update on how “The true victims of this attack could be Muslims” – needless to say he’s disgusted.
We have a Muslim in our unit. He’s a good guy and a trusted Soldier who HAS deployed. At first some were a bit weary of him, but he EARNED everyone’s trust (same way we ALL have to do that).
Same jerk-me-off policies of PC that CAUSED this to happen are being REenforced instead of realizing that this shooting is the symptom of the problem.
Once again it is we Americans (Soldiers and civillians) who have to listen to liberals bray on about how “true victims” or “diversity” or “what we did to cause this” crap – same as after 9/11.
What a CF.
