LL, you and your daughter just made my night. That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. This show will definitely get my attention just because it is finally something being shown that isn’t in love with Obama.

“V” appeared to be a clear shot at the Obama Administration. In fact, my daughter, who watched the show with me, asked me when the lizard beneath the human skin was revealed, “do you think President Obama is an alien?”

How do you respond to a question like that? I said, “No, sweetheart, he’s not smart enough to be an alien. He’s just a fool that powerful people put up front – a stooge that reads well from a teleprompter.”

“But,” my daughter countered, “he acts just like an alien when the newsman wants to ask him questions.”

“Ok, maybe he does act like an alien… but what about his wife?”

My daughter thinks for a beat, “Yeah, she’s not pretty enough to be an alien.”

One does not understand why those priests would wonder ‘if there was no God’ because aliens showed up.

God. Created. Everything.

Those aliens would be as much his Children as the Human race. CS Lewis, anyone?

But the small minds of the Left cannot wrap around such concepts.

There was one shot at Bush. They made a comment about our “Un-necessary Wars”. Other than that I felt like I was watching the election all over again.

I wrote on Gpundit last night almost your exact thoughts. I was watching the show (as I did the originals when I was child) and was convinced this was a shot at progressives period. I loved when the leader was getting interviewed she had the “journalist” guarantee not to ask “negative portraying” questions and then went on to say no questions are out of bounds when the camera came on. I am a fan of sci-fi, the political shots are just icing.
